Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yang kurang maksimal sehingga diperlukan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Salah satunya dengan menerapkan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education berbantuan MEPUZSO. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education berbantuan MEPUZSO terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas II SD pada materi pecahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain berbentuk nonequivalent control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas II SD Negeri Panenjoan dan SD Negeri Karapiak 02. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, observasi kinerja guru dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta lembar aktivitas peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan rata-rata posttest menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education berbantuan MEPUZSO lebih besar dari rata-rata posttest pada pembelajaran konvensional, yaitu sebesar 82,90 lebih besar dari 76,17. Hal tersebut berarti, pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education berbantuan MEPUZSO dan pembelajaran konvensional berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik dilihat dari perolehan gain sebesar 0,67 dan 0,54 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Dalam hal ini terdapat perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education berbantuan MEPUZSO dengan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Research result show posttest average gain use approach Realistic Mathematics Education more MEPUZSO assistance big from the average posttest on learning conventional, that is amounting to 82.90 more big from 76.17. That matter means, learning use approach Realistic Mathematics Education assisted by MEPUZSO and learning conventional influential positive to ability solution problem mathematical participant educate seen from acquisition gain of 0.67 and 0.54 incl in category currently.
