Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa yang malas dalam menulis karena menulis merupakan keterampilan yang paling kompleks dibandingkan keterampilan yang lain. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain tipe control group pretest-posttest. Dalam desain ini terdapat dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Objek penelitiannya adalah pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif, sedangkan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa SMP Negeri 9 Bandung kelas VII.1 dan kelas VII.6 dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 33 orang. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut, pembelajaran menggunakan teknik karyawisata (field trip) dalam pembelajaran menulis teks tanggapan deskriptif terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa SMP. The type of method is using quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group. In this design there are two classes, experimental class and control class. The research object is learning to write descriptive text responses, while the research subjects were students class VII.1 and class VII.6 of SMP Negeri 9 Bandung with the number of students in each class is 33 people. Based on these studies, to use the learning technique on a field trip in teaching writing descriptive text responses are proven to improve junior high school students writing.
