Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Proses Kreatif Pembuatan Komposisi dalam Acara City SoundScape 2012 di Yogyakarta”. Dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat kepedulian bunyi, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Seni Musik. Peneliti berusaha mengungkap hal-hal yang bisa meingkatkan tingkat kepedulian suara. Kepedulian suara dapat ditingkatkan dengan belajar mendengarkan dan memperhatikan suara-suara di sekitar dengan seksama. Maka dari itu peneliti mengungkap tentang proses kreatif para komponis dalam mengolah bunyi-bunyian alami di kota Yogyakarta, yang kemudian diolah menurut interpretasi komponis. Bunyi-bunyian alami ini sangat erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan manusia sehari-hari, karena semua bunyi yang diambil oleh para komponis tersebut, juga mampu didengar oleh manusia yang memiliki pendengaran normal, asalkan orang tersebut peduli bahwa ada bunyi-bunyian tersebut di sekitar mereka. Narasumber utama pada penelitian ini adalah PietHein dan dan para komponis muda sebagai peserta di acara City SoundScape 2012 Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bagaimana bunyi-bunyian alami dikomposisi menjadi musik. Proses kreatif ini terdiri dari persiapan, proses berkreasi dan presentasi hasil komposisi. This thesis entitled "Creative Process in Making Composition at City SoundScape 2012 in Yogyakarta". The title is taken based on the quality of people’s sound awareness, especially at Music Education Department UPI. Therefore, this research uncovers the creative process of young componists in processing raw sound in Yogyakarta. Those recorded sounds are natural,very close to people’s daily life and can be heard by people with normal hearing ability. Provided that all people have the sound awareness to realize those sounds around them. The subjects of research are PietHein the participants. and This research explains the process creave of how the natural sounds around us composed into one piece of music.
