Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Pelatihan Ekstrakurikuler Recorder oleh Guru Berlatar Belakang Non Pendidikan Musik di MTsN 1 Sumedang”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, proses, dan hasil pelatihan ekstrakurikuler recorder yang dilakukan oleh guru berlatar belakang non pendidikan musik. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena pentingnya pendidikan musik dalam pengembangan keterampilan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional siswa, serta tantangan yang dihadapi oleh sekolah-sekolah yang tidak memiliki sumber daya pendidikan musik yang memadai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi berupa foto/video. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui empat komponen utama: tujuan pelatihan, subjek pelatihan, aspek sosial, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan musik siswa, meskipun terdapat tantangan yang harus diatasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan seni, khususnya dalam pelatihan alat musik recorder. This thesis is entitled "Extracurricular Recorder Training by Teachers with a Non-Music Education Background at MTsN 1 Sumedang". This research aims to describe the planning, process and results of extracurricular recorder training carried out by teachers with non-music education backgrounds. This research was conducted because of the importance of music education in developing students' cognitive, social, and emotional skills, as well as the challenges faced by schools that do not have adequate music education resources. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation in the form of photos/videos. Evaluation is carried out through four main components: training objectives, training subjects, social aspects, and learning assessment. The results showed that the training was successful in improving students' musical skills, although there were challenges that had to be overcome. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of arts education, especially in training on recorder musical instruments.
