Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya industri rumahan yang berupa oncom di Desa Pasir Reungit Kabupaten Sumedang. Permasalahan pokok yang dibahas dalam skripsi ini adalah bagaimana dinamika industri rumahan oncom di Desa Pasir Reungit dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan masyarakat desa. Oncom sendiri merupakan makanan yang berupa hasil olahan fermentasi yang mana di Sumedang sendiri memiliki oncom yang paling dikenal dengan kualitas nya yang super yaitu dari Desa Pasir Reungit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji perkembangan industri rumahan oncom di Desa Pasir Reungit baik mengenai perkembangan awal, upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengembangan industri rumahan maupun dampak yang terjadi pada kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membahas mengenai perkembangan industri rumahan oncom di Desa Pasir Reungit Tahun 1992-2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode historis meliputi heuristik (pengumpulan sumber) baik sumber lisan maupun tulisan, interpretasi, kritik sumber dan historiografi. Sedangkan teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan beberapa temuan pertama, oncom di Desa Pasir Reungit ini merupakan bentuk inovasi yang dilakukan oleh Pak Amar dan juga Pak Empu dalam mengembangkan bungkil yang merupakan bahan baku oncom menggunakan kacang tanah, dimana sebelumnya berbahan baku ampas tahu. Kedua, seiring berjalannya waktu, industri rumahan oncom di Desa Pasir Reungit semakin banyak sehingga para pengusaha berusaha untuk berinovasi dan berkreatifitas dalam mengembangkan industri rumahan ini. Ketiga, bertambahnya corak mata pencaharian ini tentunya memberikan dampak terhadap kehidupan masyarakat di Desa Pasir Reungit. Dampak terhadap beberapa aspek sosial-ekonomi diantaranya pendapatan dan juga tingkat pendidikan pada masyarakat masyarakat desa. ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the existence of a home industry in the form of oncom in Pasir Reungit Village Sumedang Regency . The main problem discussed in this thesis is the dynamics of the Home Industry in Pasir Reungit Village and its impact on the lives of the village community. Oncom itself is food in the form of processed fermentation, which in Sumedang itself has oncom which is best known for its super quality, namely from Pasir Reungit Village. This research aims to examine the development of the Oncom home industry in Pasir Reungit Village regarding initial developments, the efforts made to develop the home industry, and the impact on the socio-economic life of the local community. This research was conducted to discuss the develepoment of the oncom home industry ini Pasir Reungit village from 1992-2019. The research method used is a historical method including heuristics (collection of sources) both oral and written sources, interpretation, source criticism and historiography. Meanwhile, the research techniques used are literature studies and interviews. Based on the research results, several findings were found, firstly oncom in Pasir Reungit village is a form of innovation carried out by Mr. Amar and also Mr. Empu in developing bungkil which is the raw material for oncom using peanuts, whereas previously or knownly the raw material before was tofu dregs. Secondly, as time goes by, the oncom home industry in Pasir Reungit village has increased so that entrepreneurs are trying to innovate and be creative in developing this home industry. Thirdly, the increase in livelihood patterns will certainly bring changes to the lives of the people in Pasir Reungit Village. This change influences various socio-economic aspects, including income and education level in the village community.
