Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja keuangan perusahaan-perusahaan yang tergabung dalam indeks LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2018-2022, dengan menggunakan metode Economic Value Added (EVA). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai kemampuan perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut dalam menciptakan nilai tambah ekonomis bagi para pemegang sahamnya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi, dengan sampel sebanyak 15 perusahaan per tahun yang dipilih dari total populasi 45 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, perusahaan-perusahaan dalam indeks LQ45 telah berhasil menciptakan nilai tambah ekonomis yang positif. Namun, ditemukan beberapa perusahaan yang pada tahun-tahun tertentu belum mampu menciptakan nilai tambah ekonomis, yang menunjukkan adanya variasi dalam kinerja keuangan di antara perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai kinerja keuangan perusahaan LQ45 dan kontribusinya terhadap penciptaan nilai bagi pemegang saham. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of companies listed in the LQ45 index using the Economic Value Added (EVA) approach during the 2018-2022 period. EVA is a method used to measure the economic value added generated by companies for their shareholders. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was conducted through documentation study, with a sample of 15 companies per year selected from a total population of 45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the study period. The findings indicate that, overall, companies included in the LQ45 index have successfully created economic value added for their shareholders. However, some companies were unable to generate economic value added in certain years, indicating variability in financial performance among these companies. This research provides a comprehensive overview of the financial performance of LQ45 companies and their contribution to value creation for shareholders.
