Abstract

Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan mempunyai tiga pilihan karier yang bisa mereka ambil yaitu bekerja, melanjutkan studi dan berwirausaha. Faktor minat sangat mempengaruhi pilihan yang akan mereka ambil serta didukung oleh jenis kepribadian masing-masing individu. Jenis kepribadian yang menajdi acuan dalam pemilihan minat karier siswa adalah jenis kepribadian berbasis Myers-Briggs Type Indicator atau MBTI yang terbagi menjadi 16 jenis. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan 6 jenis kepribadian MBTI yang paling dominan di Indonesia yaitu INTJ, INFJ, ENFJ, ISFJ, ISTJ dan ESFJ. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran jenis kepribadian siswa program keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah dalam penentuan minat karier. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitiannya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan garis kontinum. Hasil penelitian menunjukan gambaran tiap jenis kepribadian dalam penentuan minat kariernya, dengan jenis kepribadian yang paling dominan yaitu INFJ. Selain itu, penelitian juga menunjukan prioritas pemilihan karier siswa SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah yang cenderung memilih untuk melanjutkan studi daripada berwirausaha dan bekerja. Vocational High School graduates have three career options that they can take, namely work, continuing their studies and entrepreneurship. Interest factors greatly influence the choices they will make and are supported by each individual's personality type. The personality type that becomes a reference in choosing students' career interests is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or MBTI-based personality type which is divided into 16 types. In this study, the 6 most dominant MBTI personality types in Indonesia were used, namely INTJ, INFJ, ENFJ, ISFJ, ISTJ and ESFJ. This study aims to obtain a description of the personality types of students in the Building Modeling and Information Design expertise program of SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah in determining career interests. This study uses quantitative research methods using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis using a continuum line. The results showed a description of each personality type in determining career interests, with the most dominant personality type being INFJ. In addition, the study also showed the career selection priorities of SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah students who tend to choose continuing their studies rather than become enterpreunership and working.
