Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia terhadap Program MBKM Studi Independen dengan pengembangan keterampilan Teknologi Pendidikan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap program MBKM Studi Independen dengan pengembangan keterampilan dalam tiga aspek: “mendesain” sistem pembelajaran, “menggunakan” produk Teknologi Pendidikan dalam pembelajaran, dan “mengelola” sumber belajar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesenjangan antara keterampilan yang diharapkan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki mahasiswa, serta kurangnya minat mahasiswa terhadap program MBKM Studi Independen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket skala likert yang diberikan kepada 106 responden mahasiswa angkatan 2020 dan 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap program MBKM Studi Independen dengan pengembangan keterampilan Teknologi Pendidikan pada ketiga aspek yang diteliti. Selanjutnya secara khusus, pada aspek “mendesain” sistem pembelajaran terdapat hubungan dengan tingkat korelasi cukup kuat dengan arah hubungan yang positif dan signifikan, lalu pada aspek “menggunakan” produk Teknologi Pendidikan terdapat hubungan dengan tingkat korelasi cukup kuat dengan arah hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Selanjutnya, pada aspek “mengelola” sumber belajar terdapat hubungan dengan tingkat korelasi cukup dengan arah hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin baik persepsi mahasiswa terhadap program MBKM Studi Independen, maka akan semakin meningkat pula keterampilan mereka dalam bidang Teknologi Pendidikan. Maka, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa program MBKM Studi Independen berpotensi meningkatkan keterampilan makasiswa khususnya pada mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan pada keterampilan vokasionalnya. This study examines the relationship between the perceptions of students from the Educational Technology program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia towards the MBKM Independent Study Program and the development of their Educational Technology skills. The study aims to analyze the relationship between students' perceptions of the MBKM Independent Study Program and the development of skills in three aspects: "designing" learning systems, "using" educational technology products in learning, and "managing" teaching resources. This research is motivated by the gap between the expected skills and the skills students possess and the need for more interest among MBKM Independent Study Program students. The research method used is quantitative correlational with a survey technique. Data were collected through Likert scale questionnaires administered to 106 respondents from the 2020 and 2021 cohorts. The results show a positive and significant relationship between students' perceptions of the MBKM Independent Study Program and the development of Educational Technology skills in the three aspects studied. Specifically, in the aspect of “designing” learning systems, there is a moderately strong correlation with a positive and significant direction. Similarly, in the aspect of “utilizing” Educational Technology products, there is a moderately strong correlation with a positive and significant direction. Furthermore, in the aspect of “managing” learning resources, there is a moderate correlation with a positive and significant direction. This indicates that the better students perceive the MBKM Independent Study Program, the more their skills in Educational Technology will improve. Therefore, these findings suggest that the MBKM Independent Study Program has the potential to enhance students' skills, particularly vocational skills, in Educational Technology.
