Abstract

Pembatasan peran bagi perempuan dalam budaya patriarki membuat perempuan jadi terbelenggu dan mendapatkan perlakuan diskriminasi. Budaya patriarki yang masih kuat inilah yang menyebabkan banyaknya permasalahan sosial yang sering terjadi pada perempuan. Permasalahan tersebut salah satunya yaitu abusive relationship atau dapat diartikan kekerasan dalam hubungan berpacaran di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh budaya patriarki terhadap abusive relationship di kalangan mahasiswa perempuan Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskripsi statistik. Pada penelitian ini jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Hasil dari penelitian adalah (1) budaya patriarki berpengaruh terhadap hubungan berpacaran di kalangan mahasiswa perempuan Kota Bandung berada pada kategori sedang. (2) Tindakan abusive relationship berpengaruh terhadap hubungan berpacaran di kalangan mahasiswa perempuan Kota Bandung dikategorikan tinggi. (3) Terdapat pengaruh dari budaya patriarki terhadap abusive relationship berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis. Penelitian ini berimplikasi untuk mahasiswa perempuan dapat lebih memahami bagaimana budaya patriarki mempengaruhi hubungan interpersonal mereka, termasuk potensi risiko abusive relationship. Kata Kunci : Budaya Patriarki, Abusive Relationship, Mahasiswa Perempuan The limitation of women's roles in patriarchal culture makes women shackled and discriminated against. This strong patriarchal culture is what causes many social problems that often occur in women. One of these problems is abusive relationships or can be interpreted as violence in dating relationships among students. This study aims to determine how much influence patriarchal culture has on abusive relationships among female students in Bandung City. This study uses a quantitative method with a statistical description approach. In this study, the number of samples was 96 respondents. The results of the study are (1) patriarchal culture influences dating relationships among female students in Bandung City in the moderate category. (2) Abusive relationship actions influence dating relationships among female students in Bandung City in the high category. (3) There is an influence of patriarchal culture on abusive relationships based on the results of the hypothesis test. This study has implications for female students to be able to better understand how patriarchal culture influences their interpersonal relationships, including the potential risk of abusive relationships.
