Abstract

Circuit training adalah metode latihan yang menggabungkan berbagai variasi latihan menjadi beberapa pos sehingga membentuk satu putaran (sirkuit) yang dilakukan secara berurutan dan berulang-ulang untuk meningkatkan kondisi fisik dan keterampilan cabang olahraga tertentu. Yeop chagi adalah salah satu teknik tendangan yang membutuhkan kecepatan tinggi untuk menghasilkan poin lebih banyak dalam pertandingan taekwondo khususnya kategori poomsae (seni). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode circuit training terhadap peningkatan kecepatan tendangan yeop chagi pada atlet poomsae cabang olahraga taekwondo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet poomsae Combat Taekwondo Team yang berjumlah 12 orang, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kecepatan tendangan dalam waktu 15 detik. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini dilakukan selama 12 kali pertemuan dengan frekuensi 3 kali dalam 1 minggu. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Berdasarkan uji paired sampel t-test diperoleh nilai signifikan kurang dari 0,05 (0,001 ˂ 0,05) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari metode circuit training terhadap peningkatan kecepatan tendangan yeop chagi pada atlet poomsae cabang olahraga taekwondo. Circuit training is a training method that combines various variations of exercise into several posts to form one round (circuit) which is carried out sequentially and repeatedly to improve physical condition and skills in certain sports. Yeop chagi is a kicking technique that requires high speed to earn more points in taekwondo matches, especially in the poomsae (art) category. This research was conducted to determine the effect of the circuit training method on increasing the speed of yeop chagi kicks in taekwondo poomsae athletes. The method used in this research is an experimental method with The Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were 12 Poomsae Combat Taekwondo Team athletes, sampling using a total sampling technique. The research instrument for data collection used a kick speed test within 15 seconds. The treatment in this study was carried out over 12 meetings with a frequency of 3 times a week. The research data were then analyzed using various stages starting from statistical tests, namely normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests assisted using SPSS software. Based on the paired sample t-test, a significant value of less than 0.05 (0.001 ˂ 0.05) was obtained, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the circuit training method on increasing the speed of yeop chagi kicks in poomsae athletes in the taekwondo sport.
