Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul sistem koloid konteks pengolahan limbah cair tahu dengan koagulan biji kelor menggunakan metode four steps teaching material development (4STMD). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Development Research (DR) yang terdiri dari tahap desain, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Tahap desain dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis dan merencanakan jenis bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dan menghasilkan rancangan bahan ajar. Tahap pengembangan bahan ajar koloid menggunakan metode 4STMD yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu tahap seleksi, strukturisasi, karakterisasi dan reduksi didaktik. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui tahap uji coba kelayakan dan keterpahaman bahan ajar. Pada tahap desain diperoleh rancangan bahan ajar berupa modul. Pada tahap seleksi diperoleh label konsep dengan penjelasan konsep dan konteks substansi dan pedagogik. Tahap strukturisasi menghasilkan peta konsep, struktur makro, dan tiga level representasi. Pada tahap karakterisasi terdapat 58 teks yang diujikan pada siswa kelas XI SMA, terdapat 4 teks yang tergolong dalam teks sulit. Teks sulit tersebut direduksi didaktik dengan menggunakan penjelasan berupa gambar dan restrukturisasi kalimat. Hasil evaluasi terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan rata-rata memenuhi kriteria "sangat layak" pada aspek kelayakan isi sebesar 95,2%, kelayakan kebahasaan sebesar 85,7%, kelayakan penyajian sebesar 93,7%, dan kelayakan kegrafikan sebesar 85,3%. Selain itu, hasil uji keterpahaman siswa menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memiliki tingkat keterpahaman tinggi. This research aims to develop a colloid system module contextualized in the treatment of tofu wastewater using moringa seed coagulant through the Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4STMD) method. The research method employed is Development Research (DR), consisting of the stages of design, development, and evaluation. The design stage involves analyzing and planning the type of teaching material to be developed, resulting in a draft of the teaching material. The development stage of the colloid module uses the 4STMD method, which consists of four phases: selection, structuring, characterization, and didactic reduction. The evaluation stage includes feasibility and comprehensibility tests of the teaching material. In the design stage, the draft of the teaching material in the form of a module was obtained. In the selection phase, concept labels with explanations of conceptual, substantive, and pedagogical contexts were developed. The structuring phase produced a concept map, macro structure, and three levels of representation. The characterization phase tested 58 texts on eleventh-grade high school students, revealing four texts categorized as difficult. These difficult texts underwent didactic reduction by incorporating images and restructuring sentences. Evaluation results showed that the developed teaching material met the "highly feasible" criteria, with content feasibility scoring 95.2%, language feasibility 85.7%, presentation feasibility 93.7%, and graphical feasibility 85.3%. Additionally, the comprehensibility test indicated a high level of student understanding of the teaching material.
