Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Latihan Resistance band dan Ankle Weight Terhadap Peningkatan Kecepatan Teknik Tendangan Yeop Chagi Cabang Olahraga Taekwondo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group pretest posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah atlet Taekwondo Dojang SMAN 3 Kota Tasikmalaya sebanyak 12 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah populasi seluruhnya dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen tes yang digunakan adalah sampel melakukan gerakan teknik tendangan yeop chagi secepat mungkin sebanyak 10 kali lalu dicatat waktunya, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa latihan menggunakan resistance band dan ankle weight terdapat pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kecepatan teknik tendangan yeop chagi dan latihan menggunakan resistance band tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan dibandingkan latihan menggunakan ankle weight terhadap peningkatan kecepatan teknik tendangan yeop chagi. This research aims to determine the effect of resistance band and ankle weight training on increasing the speed of the Yeop Chagi kick technique in the Taekwondo sport. The method used in this research is a quantitative experimental method with a two group pretest posttest design research design. The population in this study were 12 Taekwondo athletes at Dojang SMAN 3 Tasikmalaya City. The sampling technique uses total sampling with the entire population used as the research sample. The test instrument used was a sample of performing the Yeop Chagi kick technique as quickly as possible 10 times and then recording the time. The results of this study showed that training using resistance bands and ankle weights had an effect on increasing the speed of the Yeop Chagi kick technique and training using resistance bands had no difference significant effect compared to training using ankle weights on increasing the speed of the Yeop Chagi kick technique.
