Abstract

PCK merupakan kemampuan guru yang terbentuk seiring waktu dan bertambahnya pengalaman mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui PCK guru berpengalaman dan calon guru Biologi serta implementasinya dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang guru berpengalaman dan lima calon guru dari dua SMP yang berbeda di Kota Bandung. Guru berpengalaman dalam penelitian ini merupakan guru tersertifikasi yang berlatar belakang pendidikan Biologi dan telah mengajar sains ≥ 15 tahun pada tingkat yang sama. Sedangkan calon guru adalah mahasiswa program sarjana pendidikan Biologi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang sedang menjalani PLP pada semester genap 2013/2014. PCK guru dan calon guru diukur dengan instrumen CoRe pada konsep “Manusia dan Lingkungannya” pada Kompetensi Dasar (KD) 7.3 dan 7.4 Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan. CoRe dianalisis dengan acuan rubrik koding. Implementasi PCK dianalisis dengan software videograph dan SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa CoRe calon guru lebih detail dan lebih lengkap dibandingkan dengan guru berpengalaman berada pada kelompok atas. Sedangkan CoRe guru berpengalaman kurang detail dan berada pada kelompok tengah. Implementasi PCK calon guru lebih banyak perubahan dalam praktiknya dibandingkan dengan guru berpengalaman yang cenderung melakukan pembelajaran sesuai CoRe. Banyaknya ide besar dalam CoRe tidak selalu sebanding dengan panjangnya durasi pembelajaran karena ternyata calon guru yang memiliki ide besar paling sedikit melaksanakan durasi pembelajaran paling lama. PCK is the knowledge that teachers develop over time and through teaching experience. This study aims to determine the PCK of experienced and prospective Biology teachers and its implementation. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach. Participants in this study were two experienced teachers and five prospective teachers of two different junior high schools in Bandung. Experienced teachers in this study are certified teachers who were majoring in Biology and have taught sciences ≥ 15 years at the same level. While the prospective teachers are undergraduate Biology students of Indonesia University of Education whose are undergoing Professionals Teacher Training Program (PLP) in the second semester of 2013/2014 academic year. Teachers’ PCK are measured by CoRe in concept of "Human and The Environment” which are included in the basic competencies (KD) 7.3 and 7.4 in certain curriculum (KTSP). CoRe was analyzed using reference coding rubric. PCK implementation was analyzed using SPSS and videograph. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the prospectives Biology teachers have more detail CoRe than the experienced teachers and categorized on the top group. While CoRes of experienced teachers are less detail should be in the middle group. Implementation of prospective teachers’ PCK is more flexible in practice than the experienced teachers who tend to perform appropriate learning based on CoRe. The numbers of big ideas in the CoRes are not always comparable to the long duration of the learning.
