Abstract
Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) merupakan proses pembelajaran dimana guru dapat menghubungkan materi pelajaran dengan situasi dunia nyata (konteks) yang dihadapi siswa sehingga mendorong siswa untuk membangun hubungan antara materi melalui pengembangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebagai bekal untuk memecahkan masalah di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh penerapan model CTL berbasis Clip Studio Paint terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMK. Hasil belajar siswa yang dimaksud berupa mengaplikasikan (C3), menganalisis (C4), dan mengevaluasi (C5). Studi Pendahuluan menghasilkan temuan masalah yakni bahwa proses pembelajaran masih terfokus pada pengajar, pengajar hanya memberikan materi kepada siswa dengan monoton kurang bervariasi sehingga kurang menarik perhatian peserta didik dan kurang berimplikasi terhadap kompetensi atau prestasi hasil belajar yang harus dipenuhi oleh siswa, hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi perlunya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan dua kelompok penelitian, bentuk desain penelitian yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini memiliki jumlah populasi sebanyak 70 siswa sebagai responden. Adapun pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian non – objektif mencakup pretest dan posttest. Temuan pada penelitian secara keseluruhan menghasilkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam aspek kognitif mengaplikasikan (C3), aspek kognitif menganalisis (C4), dan aspek kognitif mengevaluasi (C5) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CTL berbasis Clip Studio Paint. Hasil tersebut didapati dari hasil posttest kelompok eksperimen yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol serta analisis data dengan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U Test. Dengan demikian penggunaan model pembelajaran CTL berbasis Clip Studio Paint berpengaruh positif dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model is a learning process where the teacher can connect the subject matter with the real world situation (context) faced by students so as to encourage students to build relationships between materials through the development of knowledge and skills as provisions for solving problems in the future. This study aims to examine the effect of the application of the CTL model based on Clip Studio Paint on improving the learning outcomes of X grade vocational students. The intended student learning outcomes are applying (C3), analyzing (C4), and evaluating (C5). Preliminary studies produce problem findings, namely that the learning process is still focused on the teacher, the teacher only provides material to students with monotonous and less varied so that it does not attract the attention of students and has less implications for the competence or achievement of learning outcomes that must be met by students, this is the background for the need for this research. This study uses a quasi-experimental method using two research groups, the form of research design is nonequivalent control group design. This study have a total population of 70 students as respondents. The data collection was carried out using research instruments in the form of non-objective description tests including pretest and posttest. The findings of the research as a whole resulted in an increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of applying (C3), cognitive aspects of analyzing (C4), and cognitive aspects of evaluating (C5) by using the Clip Studio Paint-based CTL learning model. These results were obtained from the experimental group's posttest results which were higher than the control group and data analysis using the Mann Whitney U Test. Thus the use of the Clip Studio Paint-based CTL learning model has a positive effect in improving student learning outcomes.
