Abstract
Praktikum dalam pembelajara kimia memiliki peran yang penting, namun beberapa sekolah memiliki keterbatasan dalam melaksanakan praktikum. Materi indikator asam basa sering kali menggunakan indikator sintetik padahal Indonesia memiliki keberagaman tanaman yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai indikator alami. Dengan kemajuan teknologi memungkinkan pratikum kimia dilakukan secara virtual experiment. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk virtual experiment penentuan trayek pH indikator universal dari bahan alam. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Developmental Research dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Berdasarkan penelitian, aplikasi virtual experiment penentuan trayek pH indikator universal dari bahan alam dinyatakan layak oleh dosen ahli, praktisi, dan peserta didik ditinjau dari tujuan pembelajaran telah tercapai, situasi kerja yang ditampilkan merepresentasikan keadaan yang sebenarnya, prosedur kerja telah sesuai dengan prosedur kerja sebenarnya, data pengamatan yang ditampilkan sudah sesuai dengan data sebenarnya, dan mendapat respon positif dari peserta didik. Practicum in chemistry learning has an important role, but some schools have limitations in carrying out practicum. Acid-base indicator material often uses synthetic indicators even though Indonesia has a diversity of plants that can be utilized as natural indicators. With technological advances, it is possible for chemistry practicum to be carried out in a virtual experiment. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to produce a virtual experiment product for determining the pH trajectory of universal indicators from natural materials. The method used in this research is Developmental Research with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Based on the research, the virtual experiment application of determining the pH trajectory of universal indicators from natural materials is declared feasible by expert lecturers, practitioners, and students in terms of learning objectives that have been achieved, the work situation displayed represents the actual situation, the work procedure is in accordance with the actual work procedure, the observation data displayed is in accordance with the actual data, and received a positive response from students.
