Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran “Misteri Hilangnya Air” berbasis Android untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi siklus air di fase C sekolah dasar. Pada observasi awal yang dilakukan peneliti ditemukannya beberapa siswa kelas 5 atau fase C yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi siklus air. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni Design and Development (D&D) dan model pengembangan PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan yakni observasi, angket, dan tes dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa fase C sekolah dasar SDN 208 Luginasari Kota Bandung sebanyak sepuluh orang peserta didik. Adapun platform yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran Misteri Hilangnya Air yakni aplikasi web Canva dan Articulate Storyline 3. Terdapat tiga ahli yang memberikan penilaian pada media ini diantaranya ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli praktisi pembelajaran. Hasil validasi ahli materi yakni mendapatkan 95% dengan kriteria sangat baik, validator ahli media yakni mendapatkan 83% dengan keterangan sangat baik, dan validator ahli praktisi pembelajaran yakni mendapatkan 94% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Setelah itu, media di uji coba pada 10 siswa dan mendapatkan peningkatan pemahaman pada materi siklus air dengan hasil rata-rata pre-test yakni 39,5 dan rata-rata post-test yakni 87. Dilakukan juga uji N Gain dengan hasil rata-rata 0,77 dan termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. This study aims to develop Android-based “Misteri Hilangnya Air” learning media to improve student understanding of water cycle material in phase C of elementary school. In the initial observation conducted by the researcher, it was found that some 5th grade or phase C students had difficulty in understanding the water cycle material. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) and the PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation) development model. The instruments used are observation, questionnaire, and test with the data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative. The subjects in this study were phase C students of elementary school SDN 208 Luginasari Bandung City as many as ten students. The platform used in developing learning media for the Mystery of the Loss of Water is the Canva web application and Articulate Storyline 3. There are three experts who provide an assessment of this media including material experts, media experts, and expert learning practitioners. The results of the material expert validation received 95% with very good criteria, the media expert validator received 83% with very good information, and the learning practitioner expert validator received 94% with very good criteria. After that, the media was tested on 10 students and obtained an increase in understanding of the water cycle material with the average pre-test result of 39.5 and the average post-test of 87. The N Gain test was also carried out with an average result of 0.77 and included in the high category.
