Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD praktikum micro scale berbasis
inkuiri terbimbing pada pembuatan solid perfume berbahan beeswax yang dapat digunakan
peserta didik kelas XII tingkat SMA/MA. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah
Educational Design Research dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam tahap
penelitian pendahuluan, dilakukan optimasi yang memperoleh parfum padat yang baik
dengan komposisi 4 gram cocoa butter dan 2 gram beeswax atau 2:1, 15 tetes minyak
melati, 5 tetes avocado oil, 10 tetes alcohol 96%. Hasil optimasi, tujuan dan indikator
pembelajaran, indikator keterampilan inkuiri menurut Lou (2015) digunakan dalam
penyusunan draft LKPD. Dalam tahap pengembangan, draft LKPD diuji kelayakan
komponen, konsep, tata bahasa, dan tata letaknya oleh 2 orang dosen Pendidikan Kimia
FPMIPA UPI dan 3 orang guru kimia SMA dan direvisi menjadi LKPD yang
dikembangkan. LKPD yang dikembangkan diuji secara terbatas di salah satu SMA di kota
Bandung terhadap 12 orang peserta didik menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi
praktikum micro scale, rubrik penilaian tugas-tugas dalam LKPD, dan angket respon
peserta didik. Hasil uji kelayakan LKPD praktikum yang dikembangkan pada aspek
kesesuaian komponen terhadap indikator keterampilan inkuiri, kelayakan konsep,
kelayakan tata bahasa, tata letak serta perwajahan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.
Keterlaksanaan praktikum berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri dan
hasil jawaban peserta didik pada LKPD yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori baik
sampai sangat baik. Respon peserta didik terhadap praktikum dan LKPD praktikum yang
dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori baik sampai sangat baik, sehingga dapat
disimpulkan bahwa LKPD praktikum yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan
ajar di SMA kelas XII.

This research aims to develop a guided inquiry-based micro scale practical worksheet on
making solid perfume from beeswax that can be used by class XII SMA/MA students. The
research design used is Educational Design Research with qualitative descriptive research
methods. In the preliminary research stage, optimization was carried out to obtain a good
solid perfume with a composition of 4 grams of cocoa butter and 2 grams of beeswax or
2:1, 15 drops of jasmine oil, 5 drops of avocado oil, 10 drops of 96% alcohol. Optimization
results, learning objectives and indicators, indicators of inquiry skills according to Lou
(2015) are used in preparing the draft LKPD. In the development stage, the draft student’s
worksheet was tested for the appropriateness of its components, concepts, grammar and
layout by 2 FPMIPA UPI Chemistry Education lecturers and 3 high school chemistry
teachers and revised into the developed worksheet. The developed worksheet was tested on
a limited basis at one high school in the city of Bandung on 12 students using micro scale
practical observation sheet instruments, assessment rubrics for tasks in the worksheet, and
student response questionnaires. The results of the feasibility test of the practicum
worksheet developed in the aspect of suitability of components to indicators of inquiry
skills, feasibility of concept, appropriateness of grammar, layout and appearance are
included in the very good category. The implementation of the practicum based on the
results of observations of the implementation of the inquiry stages and the results of
students' answers to the worksheet being developed is included in the good to very good
category. Students' responses to the practicum and practicum worksheet that were
developed were in the good to very good category, so it can be concluded that the practicum
worksheet that was developed is suitable for use as teaching material in high school class
XII.
