Abstract

Kemampuan analisis merupakan salah satu keterampilan hidup diabad 21 yang harus dimiliki siswa agar bisa bersaing secara global. Akan tetapi kenyataannya, siswa tingkat SMA di Indonesia masih memiliki kemampuan analisis yang rendah. Hasil survei Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) dari 80 negara di dunia pada tahun 2022, dalam mengerjakan pertanyaan terbuka dan pertanyaan pilihan tertutup yang memerlukan kemampuan analisis, penalaran, dan komunikasi matematis tinggi menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara pada peringkat terendah, yakni peringkat 71 dari 80 negara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh web based inquiry learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa tentang perubahan iklim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pre-experimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design, sampel dan populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 39 orang di salah satu sekolah menengah atas di Kabupaten Garut. Hasil uji wilcoxon signed-rank data pretest-posttest diperoleh signifikansi dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,000 yang berarti web based inquiry learning tentang perubahan iklim berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan analisis siswa. Menurut aturan Hake (1999) besar peningkatan kemampuan analisis umumnya berada dalam kategori sedang hingga tinggi, meskipun terdapat satu soal dengan peningkatan yang tergolong rendah. Namun hasil tes belum menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara keseluruhan. Karena presentase nilai siswa yang mencapai KKM kurang dari 75% yang merupakan standar minimal ketuntasan belajar. Hampir seluruh siswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap WBIL. Analytical skills are one of the essential 21st-century life skills that students must possess to compete globally. However, the reality is that high school students in Indonesia still have low analytical skills. According to the 2022 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) survey, which included 80 countries worldwide, Indonesia ranked 71st out of 80 countries in terms of performance on open-ended questions and multiple-choice questions requiring high levels of analytical skills, reasoning, and mathematical communication. This study examined the impact of Web-Based Inquiry Learning on improving students' analytical skills concerning climate change. The research employed a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, with a sample and population of 39 students from a high school in Garut. The results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test of pretest-posttest data obtained significance with a sig (2-tailed) value of less than 0.05, namely 0.000, which means web based inquiry learning about climate change affects increasing students' analytical skills. According to Hake's (1999) rules, the increase in analytical skills is generally in the medium to high category, although there is one question with a relatively low increase. However, the test results have not positively impacted the overall completion of student learning outcomes. Because the percentage of students' scores that reach the KKM is less than 75%, which is the minimum standard for learning completeness. Almost all students showed a positive response to WBIL
