Abstract
Morus alba L., atau murbei putih, merupakan tumbuhan yang dikenal memiliki berbagai kandungan bioaktif dengan potensi farmakologis seperti flavonoid, kumarin, stilbenoid, termasuk senyawa calkon yang telah dilaporkan memiliki aktivitas antioksidan, antimikroba, dan antikanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengkarakterisasi senyawa turunan flavonoid dari ekstrak kloroform kayu batang murbei putih. Tahap isolasi dan pemisahan dilakukan dengan ekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi, ekstraksi cair-cair, serta pemisahan dan pemurnian pada fraksi kloroform dari kayu batang murbei putih dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan teknik kromatografi, yaitu Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT), Kromatografi Cair Vakum (KCV), Kromatografi Kolom Gravitasi (KKG), dan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis Preparatif. Karakterisasi struktur senyawa hasil isolasi didasarkan pada data spektroskopi Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) 1D (1H-NMR) dan membandingkan data dengan literatur. Dihasilkan isolat berupa padatan kuning seperti minyak sebanyak 6,3 mg.
Morus alba L., or white mulberry, is a plant known for its various bioactive compounds with pharmacological potential, such as flavonoids, coumarins, stilbenoids, including chalcone compounds, which have been reported to exhibit antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anticancer activities. This study aims to isolate and characterize flavonoid derivatives from the chloroform extract of white mulberry stem wood. The isolation and separation stages were carried out by extraction using the maceration method, liquid-liquid extraction, and the separation and purification of the chloroform fraction from the white mulberry stem wood, followed by chromatographic techniques, including Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), Vacuum Liquid Chromatography (VLC), Gravity Column Chromatography (GCC), and Preparative Thin Layer Chromatography. The structure characterization of the isolated compound was based on 1D Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy data (¹H-NMR) and by comparing the data with literature references. The resulting isolate was a yellow oil-like solid, totaling 6.3 mg.
