Abstract
Matematika merupakan salah satu disiplin ilmu yang sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Permendikbud Nomor 22 Tahun 2016 menyatakan bahwa pemecahan masalah menjadi salah satu tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Dalam pembelajaran matematika banyak kemampuan yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa salah satunya adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Namun, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah sehingga perlu dicari tahu apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa untuk mendapatkan solusi agar kemampuan siswa tersebut dapat ditingkatkan. Dalam pembelajaran, ada beberapa aspek yang penting bagi siswa salah satunya aspek afektif yang merupakan penyeimbang bagi aspek kognitif. dalam penelitian ini aspek afektif yang akan diuji adalah self-efficacy dan adversity quotient. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu (1) menganalisis apakah self-efficacy berpengaruh secara individu atau parsial terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah; (2) menganalisis apakah adversity quotient bepengaruh secara individu atau parsial terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah; dan (3) menganalisis apakah self-efficacy dan adversity quotient secara bersamaan atau simultan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian dipilih sebanyak 33 siswa SMP kelas VIII dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh merupakan hasil dari isian angket self-efficacy dan adversity quotient siswa dan tes uraian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Kemudian data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. (2) Tidak terdapat pengaruh adversity quotient terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. (3) Terdapat pengaruh self-efficacy dan adversity quotient secara bersamaan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Mathematics is one of the most important disciplines in education. Permendikbud Number 22 of 2016 states that problem solving is one of the learning objectives of mathematics. In learning mathematics, there are many abilities that must be mastered by students, one of which is mathematical problem solving ability. However, students' mathematical problem solving skills are still relatively low so it is necessary to find out what can affect students' mathematical problem solving skills to get solutions so that students' abilities can be improved. In learning, there are several aspects that are important for students, one of which is the affective aspect which is a counterweight to the cognitive aspect. in this study, the affective aspects that will be tested are self-efficacy and adversity quotient. The objectives of this study, namely (1) analyzing whether self-efficacy has an individual or partial effect on problem solving ability; (2) analyzing whether adversity quotient has an individual or partial effect on problem solving ability; and (3) analyzing whether self-efficacy and adversity quotient simultaneously or simultaneously affect the mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample in the study was selected as many as 33 junior high school students in class VIII using purposive sampling method. The data obtained is the result of filling in the questionnaire self-efficacy and adversity quotient of students and mathematical problem solving ability description test. Then the data were processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed that: (1) There is an effect of self-efficacy on mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students. (2) There is no effect of adversity quotient on mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students. (3) There is an effect of self-efficacy and adversity quotient simultaneously on mathematical problem solving ability of junior high school students.
