Abstract

Kinerja widyaiswara menjadi krusial dalam memastikan efektivitas pelatihan yang diselenggarakan, karena widyaiswara memegang peran sentral dalam proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan kapasitas peserta pelatihan. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 5 orang, terdiri atas dua informan kunci yaitu widyaiswara, dan tiga informan pendukung yaitu dua peserta didik dan ketua pelatihan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini, kinerja widyaiswara dianalisis berdasarkan kompetensi kepribadian, pedagogik, profesional, dan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: kompetensi kepribadian widyaiswara, seperti integritas, kedisiplinan, dan tanggung jawab, cukup baik, menciptakan hubungan yang positif dengan peserta pelatihan. Kompetensi profesional juga berada pada tingkat memadai, terlihat dari keterlibatan aktif widyaiswara dalam pelatihan dan sertifikasi untuk peningkatan kualitas diri. Namun, kompetensi pedagogik mereka memerlukan peningkatan lebih lanjut, terutama dalam pengembangan metode pengajaran yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta. Selain itu, kompetensi sosial widyaiswara perlu diperkuat guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan interaktif. Adapun faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja mereka meliputi 1) Dukungan dari BKKBN Pusat, 2) Ketersediaan teknologi dan sumber daya, 2) Motivasi internal, dan 4) Tantangan dalam menyesuaikan materi pelatihan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik yang beragam. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kompetensi melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan yang lebih sistematis dan relevan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program pelatihan, yang pada akhirnya diharapkan berkontribusi terhadap penurunan angka stunting di Provinsi Jawa Barat. The performance of the instructor is crucial in ensuring the effectiveness of the training held, because the instructor plays a central role in the learning process and increasing the capacity of training participants. The informants in this study numbered 5 people, consisting of two key informants, namely the instructor, and three supporting informants, namely two students and the head of the training. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation studies. In this study, the performance of the instructor was analyzed based on personality, pedagogical, professional, and social competencies. The results of the study showed that: the personality competencies of the instructor, such as integrity, discipline, and responsibility, were quite good, creating positive relationships with training participants. Professional competencies were also at an adequate level, as seen from the active involvement of the instructor in training and certification to improve self-quality. However, their pedagogical competencies require further improvement, especially in developing teaching methods that are more effective and relevant to the needs of participants. In addition, the social competencies of the instructor need to be strengthened in order to create a more inclusive and interactive learning environment. Other factors that influence their performance include 1) Support from the Central BKKBN, 2) Availability of technology and resources, 2) Internal motivation, and 4) Challenges in adapting training materials to the diverse needs of learners. Therefore, increasing competence through more systematic and relevant ongoing training is needed to improve the effectiveness of training programs, which are ultimately expected to contribute to reducing stunting rates in West Java Province.
