Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya disiplin kerja karyawan di LPP RRI Bandung yang ditandai dengan masih banyaknya karyawan yang datang terlambat, pulang cepat, telat masuk meskipun jam istirahat telah selesai. Apabila permasalahan ini tidak segera diatasi maka akan menghambat proses pencapaian tujuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan path goal, pengaruh kompensasi, dan bagaimana pengaruh kepemimpinan path goal dan kompensasi terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif. Jumlah populasi adalah 153 orang karyawan dan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik penarikan Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 61 orang karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan koefisien korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan path goal, kompensasi, dan disiplin kerja berada pada kategori sedang. Sementara itu, hasil perhitungan korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sedang antara kepemimpinan path goal dan kompensasi dengan disiplin kerja. Persamaan yang dihasilkan dari analisis regresi linier ganda adalah Y = 2,241 + 0,210X1 + 0,520X2 dan Pengaruh kepemimpinan path goal dan kompensasi terhadap disiplin kerja yaitu 47,6% sedangkan 52,4% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. The problem of this research was the low of employees work discipline in LPP RRI Bandung which was characterized by many lateness, leave early, and late entry although the break has been completed. If the problem not immediately resolved, it would be hamper the attainment of the goal. The purpose of this research was to know about path goal leadership influence, compensation influence and how the influence of path goal leadership and compensation towards work employee discipline. This research used the descriptive and verifikatif methods. The numbers of population was 153 people. And the retrieval of sample was used Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling so the number of samples obtained as many as 61 employees. Technique of data analysis was using correlation coefficients of pearson product moment and multiple regression analysis. The results of the research showed that path goal leadership, compensation, and work discipline were in the middle category. Meanwhile, result of correlation calculation showed that there were middle relations between path goal leadership and compensation with work discipline. The equation that showed by multiple regression analysis was Y = 2,241 + 0,210X1 + 0,520X2 and the influence of path goal leadership and compensation against work discipline was 47,6% while 52,4% the rest of it was influenced by other non-researched factors.
