Abstract
Pengembangan virtual experiment pencegahan korosi dengan sistem proteksi katodik bertujuan untuk menghasilkan aplikasi virtual experiment yang dapat digunakan sebagai media belajar oleh peserta didik kelas XII sehingga dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami topik pencegahan korosi dengan sistem proteksi katodik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan metode pengembangan yaitu, Developmental Reseach, kemudian alur penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian diambil menggunakan cara analisis triangulasi dari para ahli, tiga orang praktisi, dan lima orang peserta didik kelas XII. Berdasarkan pembahasan, profil virtual experiment pencegahan korosi dengan sistem proteksi katodik telah dapat mewakili eksperimen yang sesungguhnya. Situasi kerja, prosedur kerja dan data pengamatan yang disajikan dalam virtual experiment telah dinyatakan memenuhi syarat dan mampu menyajikan kemiripan dengan percobaan yang sesunggunya, berdasar review ahli dan praktisi. Kemudian berdasarkan tanggapan peserta didik, dinyatakan bahwa peserta didik merasa penggunaan virtual experiment menarik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. The development of a virtual experiment on corrosion prevention with a cathodic protection sistem aims to produce a virtual experiment application that can be used as a learning medium by class XII students so that it can help students understand the topic of corrosion prevention with a cathodic protection sistem. The research method used is a qualitative method with a development method, namely, Developmental Research, then the research flow uses the ADDIE model. The research results were taken using triangulation analysis from experts, three practitioners, and five class XII students. Based on the discussion, the virtual experimental profile of corrosion prevention with a cathodic protection sistem can represent the real experiment. The work situation, work procedures and observation data presented in the virtual experiment have been declared to meet the requirements and are able to provide similarities to real experiments, based on expert and practitioner reviews. Then, based on student responses, it was stated that students felt the use of virtual experiments was interesting to use in learning.
