Abstract

Pengangguran terbuka adalah penduduk usia kerja (15 tahun ke atas) yang yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan dan sedang mempersiapkan usaha, tidak aktif mencari pekerjaan karena merasa tidak mungkin mendapatkan pekerjaan, atau sudah memiliki pekerjaan tetapi belum mulai bekerja. Jawa Barat menempati posisi ke-3 sebagai provinsi dengan tingkat pengangguran terbuka paling tinggi di Indonesia dengan salah satu penyebabnya adalah masih terdapat ketimpangan gender dalam aspek ketenagakerjaan. Penerapan distribusi Skellam digunakan untuk menghitung nilai peluang tingkat pengangguran terbuka berdasarkan gender di Provinsi Jawa Barat untuk tahun yang akan datang berdasarkan selisih antara data tingkat pengangguran pria dan wanita pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan data merupakan nilai dari populasi yang berdistribusi Poisson dengan nilai peluang yang paling mungkin terjadi adalah tingkat pengangguran terbuka pria lebih besar 0.09736 atau 9,7% dari tingkat pengangguran terbuka wanita dengan selisih 1 persen. Data yang tercatat oleh BPS untuk tingkat pengangguran terbuka pria dan wanita di Jawa Barat pada Februari 2023 berturut turut sebesar 8% dan 7%. Artinya, tingkat pengangguran terbuka pria di Jawa Barat pada Februari 2023 lebih besar daripada wanita dengan selisih 1 persen. Open unemployment is the working-age population (15 years and over) who do not have a job and are preparing a business, are not actively looking for work because they feel it is impossible to get a job, or already have a job but have not started working. West Java occupies the 3rd position as the province with the highest open unemployment rate in Indonesia with one of the causes being that there is still gender inequality in the aspect of employment. The application of the Skellam distribution can be used to calculate the probability value of the open unemployment rate by gender in West Java Province for the coming year based on the difference between male and female unemployment rate data in previous years. The results obtained show that the data is a value from a Poisson-distributed population with the most likely probability value is that the male open unemployment rate is greater than 0.09736 or 9.7% of the female open unemployment rate with a difference of 1 percent. The data recorded by BPS for the male and female open unemployment rates in West Java in February 2023 were 8% and 7% respectively. This means that the male open unemployment rate in West Java in February 2023 is greater than the female open unemployment rate with a difference of 1 percent.
