Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada suami dan istri di usia awal pernikahan serta mencari perbedaan kepuasan pernikahan antara laki-laki dan perempuan di usia awal pernikahan di kota Bandung. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah total 100 subjek (50 suami dan 50 istri) yang ada di kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif serta signifikan antara kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada istri dan suami di usia awal pernikahan di kota Bandung dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.572 dengan kontribusi sebesar 32.7%. Sementara itu, ditemukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kepuasan pernikahan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal, Kepuasan Pernikahan The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the interpersonal communication skills and marital satisfaction of husbands and wives in the early age of marriage and to compare the marital satisfaction between men and women at the early age of marriage in Bandung. This quantitative research used purposive sampling technique, with a total of 100 subjects (50 husbands and 50 wives) that live in Bandung. The results of this reasearch indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal communication skills with marital satisfaction on the husband and wife in the early age of marriage in Bandung with a correlation coefficient of 0.572 with a contribution of 32.7%.
