Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan asesmen portofolio elektronik melalui Google Classroom yang valid dan reliabel serta dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada materi larutan penyangga. Berdasarkan kajian literatur mengenai pengembangan asesmen portofolio elektronik, belum pernah dilaporkan penelitian yang mengembangkan asesmen portofolio elektronik melalui Google Classroom untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep pada materi kimia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research & Development (R&D) dengan tiga tahap (define, design, dan development) dari model 4-D. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sejumlah tiga puluh peserta didik kelas sebelas di salah satu SMA Kabupaten Sumedang yang terlibat dalam uji coba terbatas serta tiga dosen pendidikan kimia dan guru kimia sebagai validator. Instrumen yang dikembangkan berupa task dan rubrik asesmen portofolio elektronik yang disusun berdasarkan indikator pencapaian kompetensi materi larutan penyangga dan indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan instrumen yang dikembangkan valid dengan nilai CVR 1.00 dan reliabel dengan nilai Cronbach Alpha 0,886 – 1,000. Hasil uji coba terbatas terhadap asesmen portofolio elektronik melalui Google Classroom yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep peserta didik. Pada setiap indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis, yaitu memfokuskan pertanyaan, memilih apakah sumber dapat dipercaya atau tidak, melaporkan hasil observasi, menarik kesimpulan, dan menentukan suatu tindakan, diperoleh nilai N-Gain berturut-turut sebesar 0,91; 0,74; 0,76; 0,86 dan 0,74 dengan kategori tinggi. Peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik pada materi larutan penyanga diperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.77 dengan kategori tinggi. This research aims to develop a valid and reliable electronic portfolio assessment through Google Classroom to improve students' critical thinking skills and concepts mastery in buffer solution material. Based on a literature review, no research has been reported that has developed electronic portfolio assessments Google Classroom to improve critical thinking skills and mastery of concepts in chemistry material. The research method used was Research & Development with three stages (define, design and development) of the 4-D model. The participants were thirty eleventh students at one of Sumedang Regency's high schools who were involved in limited trials as well as three chemistry education lecturers and chemistry teachers as validators. The instruments developed in this research were electronic portfolio assessment tasks and rubrics based on indicators of competency achievement in buffer solution material and indicators of critical thinking skills. The research results showed that the instrument was valid with a CVR value of 1.00 and reliable with a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.886 – 1.000. Results of limited trials of the electronic portfolio assessment through Google Classroom show improvements in students' critical thinking skills and concepts mastery. The N-Gain values for indicator of critical thinking skills, namely focusing questions, choose the credibility of the source, reporting observation results, drawing conclusions, and determining an action, the N-Gain values were 0.91, 0.74, 0.76, 0.86 and 0.74, respectively with the high categories. Meanwhile, the N-Gain value of concepts mastery were 0.77 with the high category.
