Abstract
Pengelolaan data pendidik memegang peran krusial dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan. Namun, banyak tantangan yang dihadapi, terutama dalam integrasi data. Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta menghadapi kompleksitas dalam penyimpanan dan manajemen data pendidiknya. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kebutuhan untuk menemukan solusi penyimpanan data pendidik yang terintegrasi dan aman. Melalui analisis terhadap tantangan utama yang dihadapi dalam pengelolaan data pendidik, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konsep dan arsitektur SDS serta fitur yang relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan performa sistem penyimpanan Software Defined Storage (SDS) dengan opsi penyimpanan diantaranya, Swift, Ceph dan Amazon S3 dalam konteks digitalisasi data pendidik pada Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini merancang, membangun dan menguji ketiga sistem penyimpanan untuk menganalisis performa, skalabilitas dan keamanan masing - masing penyimpanan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan teknologi informasi dalam konteks pengelolaan data pendidik di institusi pendidikan khususnya Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta. ----- Educator data management plays a crucial role in improving efficiency and quality of service. However, there are many challenges, especially in data integration. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office faces complexity in storing and managing its educator data. This study identifies the need to find an integrated and secure educator data storage solution. Through an analysis of the main challenges faced in managing educator data, this study explores the concept and architecture of SDS and relevant features. This study aims to analyze and compare the performance of the Software Defined Storage (SDS) storage system with storage options including Swift, Ceph and Amazon S3 in the context of digitizing educator data at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office. This study designs, builds and tests the three storage systems to analyze the performance, scalability and security of each storage. The results of this study are expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of information technology in the context of educator data management in educational institutions, especially the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office.
