Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul topik cat ramah lingkungan berbasis green
chemistry dan berorientasi literasi sains yang tervalidasi dan teruji aspek keterpahamannya. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Design Development Research (DDR) dengan tahapan: (1) tahap
perencanaan; (2) tahap produksi; (3) tahap evaluasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA Negeri Kota
Bandung dengan partisipan 31 orang kelas X untuk uji coba terbatas melalui tes ide pokok untuk menguji
tingkat keterpahaman peserta didik. Pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan dengan analisis tujuan pembelajaran
dan analisis literatur, selanjutnya tahap produksi dilakukan dengan perumusan teks dasar dan outline e
modul, terakhir tahap evaluasi menggunakan uji keterpahaman. Hasil validasi e-modul yang dikembangkan
secara umum memenuhi kriteria kelayakan e-modul dengan beberapa saran perbaikan berupa perbaikan
kalimat, kelengkapan informasi, dan penulisan sitasi, serta penggunaan imbuhan. Hasil uji keterpahaman
dengan tes ide pokok menghasilkan persentase skor tertinggi pada teks ke-4 yaitu 98% yang termasuk
kriteria keterpahaman sangat baik dan terendah terdapat pada teks ke-3 yaitu sebesar 74% yang termasuk
kriteria keterpahaman baik, sehingga e-modul dapat digunakan secara mandiri tanpa kesulitan oleh peserta
didik .

This research aims to produce an e-module on the topic of environmentally friendly paint based on green
chemistry and science literacy oriented that is validated and tested for its comprehensibility aspects. The
research method used is the Design Development Research (DDR) method with stages: (1) planning stage;
(2) production stage; (3) evaluation stage. This research was conducted in one of the Bandung City Public
High Schools with 31 participants in class X for a limited trial through a main idea test to test the level of
comprehension of students. In the planning stage, learning objectives and literature analysis were analyzed,
then the production stage was carried out by formulating the basic text and e-module outline, finally the
evaluation stage used the comprehension test. The results of the validation of the developed e-module
generally meet the criteria for e-module feasibility with some suggestions for improvement in the form of
sentence improvement, completeness of information, and citation writing, as well as the use of affixes. The
results of the comprehensibility test with the main idea test resulted in the highest percentage score in the
4th text, 98%, which included very good comprehensibility criteria and the lowest was in the 3rd text, 74%,
which included good comprehensibility criteria, so that the e-module could be used independently without
difficulty by students.
