Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) Pengaruh latihan cones drill terhadap kelincahan stepping; (2) Latihan ladder drill terhadap kelincahan stepping; dan (3) Cones drill lebih berpengaruh dibandingkan ladder drill terhadap peningkatan kelincahan stepping pada atlet Taekwondo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet putra aktif Taekwondo Armory Team dengan jumlah 12 atlet. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu side step test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji paired sample t-test dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa latihan cones drill dan latihan ladder drill memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kelincahan stepping atlet Taekwondo, dan cones drill tidak lebih berpengaruh signifikan dibandingkan ladder drill terhadap peningkatan kelincahan stepping pada atlet Taekwondo. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) The effect of cones drill training on stepping agility; (2) Ladder drill training on stepping agility; and (3) Cones drill is more influential than ladder drill on increasing stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes. The method used in this research is a quantitative experimental method with a two group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were active male athletes of the Taekwondo Armory Team with a total of 12 athletes. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The research instrument used was the side step test. The data analysis technique used is paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that cones drill training and ladder drill training have a significant effect on the stepping agility of Taekwondo athletes, and cones drill has no more significant effect than ladder drill on increasing stepping agility in Taekwondo athletes.
