Abstract

Guru menghadapi tantangan karena perkembangan pendidikan yang pesat, kepala sekolah perlu berupaya untuk meningkatkan self-renewal capacity guru agar keterampilan dan kompetensinya terus berkembang sehingga guru dapat memberikan pengajaran yang revelan kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi supervisi pembelajaran kepala sekolah dalam menumbuhkan self-renewal capacity guru. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, staf di SDN 035 Soka, SD Mutiara Bunda dan SD Pelita Fajar Kota Bandung. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman dan olah data menggunakan aplikasi Nvivo 14. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah dari ketiga sekolah mengimplementasikan strategi kolaboratif dalam supervisi pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan self-renewal capacity guru. Guru dari ketiga sekolah tersebut memiliki self-renewal capacity guru yang terlihat dari kemampuan guru untuk terus belajar dan beradaptasi dengan perkembangan pendidikan dengan memperbaiki kinerjanya melalui eksploitasi, eksplorasi, absorpsi, integrasi dan leadership. Terdapat faktor pendukung yaitu, tingginya budaya kolaboratif di sekolah, antusiasme guru dalam melakukan self-renewal capacity dan dukungan dari yayasan. Faktor penghambat yaitu, waktu yang terbatas, perubahan kurikulum, kurangnya pemahaman teknologi, perbedaan pendapat dan rendahnya motivasi belajar beberapa guru. Solusi kepala sekolah untuk menangani hal tersebut melalui penyusunan perencanaan supervisi lebih baik, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam supervisi melalui google drive, meningkatkan kolaborasi, dan memberikan motivasi secara personal kepada guru. Rekomendasi, bagi pengawas perlu meningkatkan pembinaan dan kolaborasi antar sekolah, bagi kepala sekolah mengembangkan materi penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran dalam pelatihan dan memberikan tugas kepada guru agar dapat terlibat dalam setiap proses tahapan supervisi pembelajaran. Kata kunci: self renewal capacity, strategi supervisi, kolaborasi.   Teachers face challenges due to the rapid development of education, so principals must work to enhance teachers' self-renewal capacity to ensure that their skills and competencies continue to evolve, enabling them to provide relevant instruction to students. This study aims to describe the instructional supervision strategies employed by principals to foster teachers' self-renewal capacity. The research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study include principals, teachers, and staff at SDN 035 Soka, SD Mutiara Bunda, and SD Pelita Fajar in Bandung City. Data analysis employs the Miles & Huberman model, and data processing is conducted using the Nvivo 14 application. The results of this study indicate that the principals of the three schools implement collaborative strategies in instructional supervision to nurture teachers' self-renewal capacity. Teachers at these schools exhibit self-renewal capacity, demonstrated by their ability to continuously learn and adapt to educational developments by improving their performance through exploitation, exploration, absorption, integration, and leadership. Supporting factors include a strong collaborative culture in the schools, teachers' enthusiasm for self-renewal, and support from the foundation. Inhibiting factors include limited time, curriculum changes, lack of technological understanding, differing opinions, and low motivation to learn among some teachers. The principals address these challenges by improving supervision planning, utilizing technology in supervision through Google Drive, enhancing collaboration, and providing personal motivation to teachers. Recommendations include increased guidance and collaboration among schools for supervisors, development of training materials on the use of educational technology by principals, and assigning tasks to teachers to ensure their involvement in every stage of the instructional supervision process.
