Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya isu dan konflik perpecahan yang terjadi di masyarakat Indonesia yang mempunyai keberagaman suku, ras, agama, ekonomi sosial dan bahasa. Adanya permasalahan tersebut diakibatkan karena pengenalan nilai-nilai keadilan social yang kurang diterapkan kepada masyarakat khususnya dalam pendidikan usia dini sehingga menimbulkan kekhawatiran di masa mendatang terhadap kedaulatan Negara Indonesia. Selain hal tersebut masih terdapat permasalahan tentang kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk anak. Maka diperlukan adanya inovasi dalam bentuk media yaitu Interactive storybook guna membantu pendidik dalam mengenalkan nilai keadilan social dan membangun karakter kerjasama anak. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini 1) untuk mengetahui pengembangan media interactive storybook bermuatan social justice untuk membangun karakter kerja sama anak., 2) untuk memperoleh hasil uji materi dan ahli media interactive storybook bermuatan social justice untuk membangun karakter kerja sama anak., 3) dan untuk mengetahui hasil uji coba kelas terbatas setelah penggunaan media interactive storybook bermuatan social justice untuk membangun karakter kerja sama anak. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian campuran mix method dengan menggunakan model desain penelitian EDR (Educational Design Research). Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sepuluh anak usia 5-6 tahun dari salah satu lembaga yang berada di Kota Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaiu wawancara, observasi, rating scale dan dokumentasi. Hasil peneliian menunjukan bahwa 1) pengembangan prototype media interactive storybook diawali dengan proses identifikasi masalah, identifikasi kebutuhan, pembuatan storyboard, tahapan revisi hingga menjadi produk akhir media interactive storybook. 2) Dengan diperoleh hasil uji validasi materi dan ahli media dengan skor interpretasi “Sangat Layak”. 3) dan Uji coba setelah dilakukan penggunaan media interactive storybook memperoleh hasil akhir yang memuaskan dengan ditunjukan adanya peningkatan pemahaman keadilan social dan karakter kerja sama. ------------ This research is motivated by the many divisive issues and conflicts that occur in Indonesian society which has ethnic, racial, religious, social economic and linguistic diversity. The existence of these problems is caused by the introduction of social justice values that are less applied to the community, especially in early childhood education, which raises concerns in the future about the sovereignty of the Indonesian State. In addition to this, there are still problems about the lack of interesting learning media for children. So there is a need for innovation in the form of media, namely Interactive storybooks to help educators in introducing the value of social justice and building children's cooperation character. The objectives in this study are 1) to determine the development of interactive storybook media with social justice content to build children's cooperation character, 2) to obtain the results of material and media expert tests of interactive storybook with social justice content to build children's cooperation character, 3) and to determine the results of limited class trials after the use of interactive storybook media with social justice content to build children's cooperation character. The research was conducted using a mixed method research method using the EDR (Educational Design Research) research design model. The participants in this study were ten children aged 5-6 years from one of the institutions located in Bandung City. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, rating scales and documentation. The results showed that 1) the development of interactive storybook media prototypes begins with the process of identifying problems, identifying needs, making storyboards, revising stages to become the final product of interactive storybook media. 2) With the obtained results of the material validation test and media experts with an interpretation score of “Very Feasible”. 3) And the trial after the use of interactive storybook media obtained satisfactory final results with an increase in understanding of social justice and cooperation characters.
