Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan media digital berbasis game interaktif wordwall untuk memfasilitasi keaksaraan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research (EDR). Data yang didapatkan dalam penelitian dari hasil observasi dan wawancara. Adapun latar belakang pengembangan media berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan mengenai ketersediaan media digital untuk memfasilitasi keaksaraan anak usia dini yang masih kurang, game interaktif wordwall belum pernah digunakan dalam pembelajaran di taman kanak-kanak, dan gurupun setuju untuk dilakukan pengembangan media digital berbasis game interaktif wordwall. Kebanyakan media digital yang tersedia di taman kanak-kanak yaitu berupa video interaktif yang digunakan untuk menstimulasi aspek perkembangan nilai agama dan moral. Kemudian aplikasi yang biasa digunakan oleh guru untuk membuat media digital dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu aplikasi capcut sebesar 54% dan game interaktif wordwall sebesar 5%. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah media digital berbasis game interaktif wordwall yang layak digunakan oleh anak usia dini dalam mengenal kekasaraan dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi ahli bidang materi sebesar 80%, ahli bidang media sebesar 80% dan ahli bidang pedagogik sebesar 100%. Selain itu, media hasil pengembangan dinyatakan efektif dan mudah digunakan oleh anak usia dini yang dibuktikan dari hasil uji coba di TK Sejahtera 4 yang menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan keaksaraan dalam pengenalan huruf dengan n-gain score 0,8 yang berkategori tinggi. The aim of this research is to produce digital media based on interactive wordwall games to facilitate early childhood literacy. This study uses the Educational Design Research (EDR) method. Data obtained in the study from observations and interviews. The background of media development is based on the results of a preliminary study regarding the availability of digital media to facilitate early childhood literacy which is still lacking, interactive wordwall games have never been used in learning in kindergartens, and teachers also agree to develop digital media based on interactive wordwall games. Most of the digital media available in kindergartens are in the form of interactive videos that are used to stimulate aspects of the development of religious and moral values. Then the applications commonly used by teachers to create digital media in the learning process are the capcut application by 54% and interactive wordwall games by 5%. This study produces a digital media based on interactive wordwall games that are suitable for use by early childhood in recognizing rudeness as evidenced by the results of validation by material experts by 80%, media experts by 80% and pedagogical experts by 100%. In addition, The media developed was declared effective and easy to use by early childhood children as proven by the trial results at Sejahtera 4 Kindergarten which showed an increase in literacy skills in letter recognition with an n-gain score of 0.8 which is in the high category.
