Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kegiatan bermain puzzle kardus sebagai stimulasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak. Berdasarkan hasil prapenelitian yang dilakukan di TKs Islam Amanah Kota Serang proses memecahkan masalah yang terlihat bahwa aktivitas pembelajaran dilakukan langsung oleh anak itu sendiri, terdapat beberapa anak yang belum bisa memecahkan masalah sederhana seperti, anak masih bingung dalam mengenali bentuk dan gambar di puzzle, hal ini terlihat pada saat kegiatan bermain puzzle. Salah satu kegiatan bermain yang dapat menstimulasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak adalah bermain puzzle oleh karena itu inilah yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 anak usia 5-6 tahun di TKS Islam Amanah Kota Serang. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bermain puzzle kardus dapat menstimulasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak. Anak yang berada pada tingkat BM berjumlah 0 anak, pada tingkat MM sejumlah 5 anak, dan tingkat SM sejumlah 10 anak. Anak perlu distimulasi dan dibimbing oleh guru sebagai orang tua di sekolah Melalui tahapan pemecahan masalah dalam bermain puzzle, anak dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir logis, kreatif, dan sistematis dalam memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada peneliti, guru dan peneliti selanjutnya dalam implementasi kegiatan bermain puzzle khusunya sebagai salah satu upaya menstimulasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah. ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the implementation of cardboard puzzle playing activities as a stimulation of children's problem solving abilities. Based on the results of pre-research conducted at the Amanah Islamic Kindergarten in Serang City, the process of solving problems shows that the learning activities are carried out directly by the children themselves, there are some children who cannot solve simple problems, for example, children are still confused about recognizing shapes and pictures in puzzles, this is seen during puzzle playing activities. One of the play activities that can stimulate children's problem-solving abilities is playing puzzles, therefore this is the focus of this research. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were 15 children aged 5-6 years at TKS Islam Amanah Serang City. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on research results, it shows that playing cardboard puzzles can stimulate children's problem-solving abilities. There are 0 children at the BM level, 5 children at the MM level, and 10 children at the SM level. Children need to be stimulated and guided by teachers as parents at school. Through the problem solving stages of playing puzzles, children can develop the ability to think logically, creatively and systematically in solving problems. This research is recommended to researchers, teachers and future researchers in implementing puzzle playing activities, especially as an effort to stimulate problem solving abilities.
