Abstract

Multimedia berbasis website yang dikembangkan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran pada materi sel elektrolisis. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik media yang dikembangkan, menguji kesesuaian multimedia berdasarkan review ahli, dan melakukan uji terbatas dengan tiga orang pendidik serta lima orang peserta didik pada tingkat SMA di Kota Bandung dan Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah developmental research dan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Evaluation). Hasil karakteristik media yang diperoleh berupa teks yang didukung dengan gambar, audio, video, dan video animasi. Hasil uji kesesuaian multimedia berdasarkan review ahli diperoleh saran perbaikan produk. Hasil uji coba terbatas didapatkan berupa 87 tanggapan positif dari total 87 kemungkinan tanggapan positif yang diperoleh dari pendidik dan 118 tanggapan positif dari total 120 kemungkinan tanggapan positif yang diperoleh dari peserta didik. Simpulan pada penelitian ini adalah karakteristik media yang dikembangkan mampu menjelaskan konsep dasar sel elektrolisis membedakan jenis-jenis sel elektrolisis, dan menentukan reaksi redoks yang terjadi di dalam sel elektrolisis. Multimedia yang dikembangkan sesuai berdasarkan review ahli, sehingga dinyatakan layak setelah melakukan perbaikan. Multimedia yang dikembangkan berdasarkan tanggapan pendidik dan peserta didik dinilai menarik, mudah dipahami, memiliki aksesbilitas yang baik, dan membantu dalam proses pembelajaran sel elektrolisis. Web-based multimedia developed as an alternative learning on electrolysis cell material. Specifically, this study aims to determine the characteristics of the media developed, test the suitability of multimedia based on expert reviews, and conduct limited tests with three teachers and five students at the high school level in Bandung and Cimahi. The method used in this research is developmental research and the development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Evaluation). The results of media characteristics obtained in the form of text supported by images, audio, video, and animated video. The results of the multimedia suitability test based on expert reviews obtained product improvement suggestions. The results of the limited trial obtained in the form of 87 positive responses from a total of 87 possible positive responses obtained from teachers and 118 positive responses from a total of 120 possible positive responses obtained from students. The conclusion of this study is that the characteristics of the media developed are able to explain the basic concepts of electrolysis cells, distinguish the types of electrolysis cells, and determine the redox reactions that occur in electrolysis cells. The multimedia developed is appropriate based on expert review, so it is declared feasible after making improvements. The multimedia developed based on the responses of teachers and students is considered interesting, easy to understand, has good accessibility, and helpful in the learning process of electrolysis cells.
