Abstract

Video company profile adalah kunci dalam mendefinisikan identitas dan menyampaikan pesan penting kepada publik. Elemen visual berperan penting dalam meningkatkan daya tarik dan keterlibatan audiens. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang video company profile yang dapat meningkatkan citra PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia di mata publik dan calon pelanggan sebagai media informasi, serta mengetahui hasil distribusi dan apresiasi. Peneliti menggunakan metode mix method dengan menggunakan pendekatan Practice- Led Research yang berfokus pada penciptaan karya dengan lima tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap mengimajinasi, tahap pengembangan imajinasi, tahap pengerjaan, dan hasil karya. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung dengan PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia. Hasil pengujian alpha test oleh ahli materi diperoleh skor 98% dan ahli media 93% menunjukan bahwa video company profile PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia “Sangat Layak” dipublikasikan. Pengujian beta test dengan angket responden yang disebarkan kepada target pasar PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia yaitu mahasiswa S2, S3, dan dosen memperoleh hasil 87,1% dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Di Youtube, video ini mendapat apresiasi yang signifikan dengan jangkauan 1.400 tayangan dan memperoleh 378 penayangan, serta total waktu tonton mencapai 8,9 jam. Video ini juga memperoleh 139 suka, 85 komentar, dan peningkatan 31 subscriber hingga tanggal 24 Juli 2024. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa video company profile PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia efektif dalam membangun citra positif perusahaan dalam mempererat hubungan dengan audiens, meningkatkan kepercayaan audiens melalui penyampaian informasi yang jelas, dan menjadi alat komunikasi yang efektif untuk menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas. --------- The company profile video is key in defining identity and conveying important messages to the public. Visual elements play a crucial role in enhancing appeal and audience engagement. The aim of this research is to design a company profile video that can enhance the image of PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia in the eyes of the public and potential customers as an informational medium, as well as to assess the distribution outcomes and appreciation. The research employed a mixedmethod approach using Practice-Led Research, which focuses on the creation of work through five stage: preparation, imagination, imagination development, execution, and final product. Data were obtained through interviews and direct observations with PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia. Alpha testing by content experts scored 98% and media experts scored 93%, indicating the company profile video of PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia is “Highly Suitable” for publication. Beta testing with a questionnaire distributed to the target market, consisting of postgraduate students and lecturers, resulted in a score of 87,1%, also categorized as “Highly Suitable’. On YouTube, this video received significant appreciation with a reach of 1,400 views and 378 individual plays, with a total watch time of 8.9 hours. The video also garnered 139 likes, 85 comments, and an increase of 31 subscribers as of July 24, 2024. This indicates that the company profile video of PT. Rumah Publikasi Indonesia is effective in building a positive company image, strengthening relationships with the audience, enhancing audience trust through clear information delivery, and serving as an effective communication tool to reach a broader audience
