Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh metode latihan mental self-talk motivasional dan imajeri instruksional terhadap penguasaan keterampilan dasar lob bertahan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen terhadap sampel penelitian atlet-atlet PB. BALEENDAH KAB. BANDUNG yang aktif mengikuti latihan bulutangkis sebanyak 24 orang, terdiri atas 12 orang kelompok eksperimen dan 12 orang kelompok kontrol, dari setiap kelompok terdiri dari 6 orang atlet putra dan 6 orang atlet putri. Semua sampel di pilih dan ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling.Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes objektif jenis acuracy-based test yang mengukur ketepatan hasil pukulan pada bidang sasaran yang ditentukan dalam 12 kali kesempatan. Hasil penghitungan uji independent samples t tes data kelompok self-talk motivasional dan kelompok imajeri instruksional dengan menggunakan asumsi equal variances not assumed diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelompok self-talk motivasional lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok imajeri instruksional yaitu (24,91> 16,00) dan setelah di analisis, terbukti bahwa metode latihan self-talk motivasional dan imajeri instruksional memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap penguasaan keterampilan dasar lob bertahan. Kata-kata kunci: Self-talk Motivasional, Imajeri Instruksional, Keterampilan Dasar Lob Bertahan. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mental training methods self-talk motivational and instructional imagery to lob mastery of basic skills to survive. The study was conducted by using the experimental method to the study sample PB athletes. Baleendah KAB. BANDUNG active in training as much as 24 orang badminton, consisting of 12 in the experimental group and 12 control group, each group consisted of 6 men and 6 athletes women athletes. All samples were selected and determined by using a random sampling technique used. Instrumen is objective type test acuracy-based test that measures the accuracy of the result of a blow to the target field specified in 12 occasions. Counting results of independent samples t test tests the data group motivational self-talk and imagery instructional groups by assuming equal variances not assumed average values obtained self-talk motivational group is higher than the imagery group instructional namely (24.91> 16.00 ) and after the analysis, it is evident that the method of self-talk motivational training and instructional imagery has significant impact on the mastery of basic skills lob survive.
