Abstract
Peranan pemikiran intuitif melalui problem-based learning (PBL) merupakan upaya membantu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan mengasah pemikiran intuitif peserta didik berdasarkan sintaks problem-based learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi peranan pemikiran intuitif melalui PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini, yaitu one-group pretest-posttest dengan subjek penelitian, yaitu peserta didik kelas X. Kemunculan pemikiran intuitif dijaring menggunakan website mentimeter dan diberikan pertanyaan lisan pada saat kegiatan praktikum, kemudian dideskripsikan karakteristik serta peranan pemikiran intuitif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran materi perubahan lingkungan masih berada pada kategori rendah. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran yang melibatkan pemikiran intuitif melalui model problem-based learning, kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik meningkat. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,60 yang artinya kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik berada dalam kategori sedang. Pada umumnya, peserta didik memberikan respon positif terhadap peranan pemikiran intuitif dalam PBL pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya kemunculan pemikiran intuitif dalam pembelajaran memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan.
The role of intuitive thinking through problem-based learning (PBL) is an effort to help improve problem-solving skills by honing students' intuitive thinking based on problem-based learning syntax. The aim of this research is to identify the role of intuitive thinking through PBL on students' problem solving skills. The research design in this study is one-group pretest-posttest with class X students as research subjects. The emergence of intuitive thinking was captured using the Mentimeter website and given verbal questions during practicum, then the characteristics and role of intuitive thinking in problem solving skills were described. Students' problem solving skills before learning environmental change material are still in the low category. After learning that involves intuitive thinking through a problem-based learning model, students' problem-solving skills increase. Problem solving skills have increased with an N-gain value of 0.60, which means that students' problem solving skills are in the medium category. In general, students responded positively to the role of intuitive thinking in PBL on environmental change material. Based on this, it can be concluded that the emergence of intuitive thinking in learning has a role in improving students' problem solving skills on environmental change material in solving problems.
