Abstract
ABSTRAK PENGARUH PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL SONDAH TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN GERAK LOKOMOTOR ANAK TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN DI SLB MUHAMMADIYAH KARANGPAWITAN GARUT (Penelitian Single Subject Research pada Siswa Kelas III SDLB di SLB Muhammadiyah Karangpawitan Garut) Putry Farida Shaum (1002160) Gerak dasar lokomotor diartikan sebagai gerakan atau keterampilan yang menyebabkan tubuh berpindah tempat, gerak yang sifatnya sangat alamiah dan sangat mendasar. keterampilan gerak lokomotor sangat diperlukan bagi anak sehingga anak mampu melakukan aktivitas secara mandiri. Begitupun anak tunagrahita ringan, anak tunagrahita ringan membutuhkan pengembangan kemampuan motorik kasar gerak lokomotor agar berfungsi maksimal. Karena keterampilan gerak lokomotor berguna bagi tunagrahita dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari yang membutuhkan keterampilan gerak lokomotor. Bila keterampilan gerak lokomotor tidak dimiliki sedini mungkin, dapat mengakibatkan masalah dikemudian hari pada kemampuan gerak lokomotor (kemampuan gerak individu untuk berpindah). Pada penelitian ini Subjek yang akan diteliti adalah anak tunagrahita ringan yang memiliki kemampuan motorik kasar gerak lokomotor yang terbatas. Kemampuan tersebut adalah siswa tersebut ketika berjalan lamban, kurang keseimbangan dan berlari sangat lamban berbeda dengan anak lainnya. Anak ini merupakan siswa kelas III SDLB. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan suatu media untuk mengembangkan potensi gerak lokomotor siswa tunagrahita ringan tersebut. Permainan tradisional sondah merupakan permainan yang dapat melatih keseimbangan dan melatih menguatkan otot-otot pada kaki. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional sondah terhadap keterampilan gerak lokomotor anak tunagrahita ringan yaitu (NS) dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan Single Subject Research dengan menggunakan desain A-B-A. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa permainan tradisional sondah dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan gerak lokomotor pada anak tunagrahita ringan (NS). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan mean level pada setiap fase yaitu pada fase baseline-1 (A-1) mean level nya 47,75%, fase intervensi (B) 59% dan meningkat pada fase baseline-2 (A-2) yaitu 71%. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan permainan tradisional sondah dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif permainan yang edukatif. Peneliti mengharapkan diadakan penelitian mengenai permainan tradisional sondah untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan tubuh anak. Kata Kunci : Permainan Tradisional Sondah, Gerak Lokomotor ABSTRACT INFLUENCE GAME OF TRADITIONAL SKILLS SONDAH LOCOMOTOR CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL CHALLENGES LIGHT MOTION IN SLB MUHAMMADIYAH KARANGPAWITAN GARUT ( Research Single Subject Research in Class III Muhammadiyah Karangpawitan SLB SLB in Garut ) Farida Putry Shaum (1002160) Motion is defined as basic locomotor movement or skill that cause the body to move , the motion that is very natural and very basic . locomotor movement skills is necessary for the child so that the child is able to perform activities independently . Likewise mild mentally retarded children , children with intellectual challenges require the development of mild gross motor skills in order to function optimally locomotor movement . Because locomotor movement skills useful for the mentally retarded in performing daily activities that require movement of locomotor skills . When the locomotor movement skills not possessed as early as possible , can lead to problems later on locomotor movement capability ( the ability of individuals to move motion ) . In this study the subject to be studied is mild mentally retarded children who have gross motor skills are limited locomotor movement . These capabilities are those students when walking slowly , lacking balance and ran very slow different from other children . This child is a student of class III SLB . Based on these problems , we need a media to develop students' potential locomotor movements such mild mental retardation . Sondah traditional game is a game that can balance training and exercise to strengthen the muscles in the legs . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the traditional game sondah the locomotor movement skills that mild mentally retarded children ( NS ) by using the method of experimental research Single Subject Research approach using ABA design . The research proves that traditional games can sondah give effect to the increase in locomotor movement skills in children mild mental retardation ( NS ) . This is evidenced by the increase in the mean levels at each phase of the baseline phase - 1 ( A - 1 ) of its mean level of 47.75 % , the intervention phase ( B ) and a 59 % increase in the baseline phase - 2 ( A - 2 ) at 71 % . The results of this study recommend sondah traditional games can be used as an alternative educational games . Researchers expect the research on traditional games sondah to improve the balance of the child's body . Keywords : Traditional Games sondah , Motion Locomotor
