Abstract
Penelitian ini menelaah mengenai battle ropes exercise terhadap peningkatan power endurance atlet pencak silat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki efek dari 6 minggu (dilakukan tiga kali per minggu) battle ropes exercise terhadap peningkatan power endurance otot lengan atlet pencak silat. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah atlet UKM Pencak Silat UPI yang berjumlah 30 atlet. Teknik pengambilan sample dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sample yang di ambil sebanyak 15 atlet. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan test push-up clap 1 menit. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji paired sample t-test, dan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan battle ropes exercise terhadap peningkatan power endurance atlet pencak silat. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan adanya peningkatan persentase sebesar 20% yang terjadi pada pre-test dan post-test dengan menggunakan test push-up clap 1 menit. This study examines battle ropes exercise to increase the power endurance of pencak silat athletes. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 6 weeks (done three times per week) of battle ropes exercise on increasing the power endurance of the arm muscles of pencak silat athletes. The method used in this research is a quantitative experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The population used was UKM Pencak Silat UPI athletes, totaling 30 athletes. The sampling technique in this research used a purposive sampling technique with the number of samples taken as many as 15 athletes. This research instrument uses a 1 minute push-up clap test. The data analysis technique used was the paired sample t-test, and the results of this study showed that there was a significant influence of battle ropes exercise on increasing the power endurance of pencak silat athletes. The results of this study also showed that there was a 20% increase in percentage that occurred in the pre-test and post-test using the 1 minute push-up clap test.
