Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan teknologi hologram multimedia, dalam pertunjukan tari, yang menggabungkan elemen visual, teknologi, gerakan tari, busana, pencahaian dan musik sebagai bentuk baru dalam seni pertunjukan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan multimedia hologram dalam kolaborasi penciptaan tari di KIG Dance Community, Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian berbasis seni (Art-Based Research). Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam komunitas tari di Himpunan Mahasiswa Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang menamakan dirinya KIG Dance Community. Teknik pengumpulan dilakukan dengan cara forum group discution, observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi serta kajian literatur. Prosedur penelitian diawali dengan mengidentifikasi masalah dan tujuan, wawancara awal, persiapan materi, praktik yang dilakukan dalam 4 kali pertemuan, refleksi dan evaluasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara kondensasi, presentasi, inferensi dan validasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1. Meningkatkan pemahaman KIG Dance Community tentang dasar-dasar hologram, keterampilan dalam mengeksplorasi multimedia hologram dengan kinestetik; 2. Meningkatkan sikap kreatif dan inovatif KIG Dance Community dalam ekspresi artistik dan interaksi antara penari dan mutlimedia, sert kolaborasi estetik antara gerak dan teknologi, sehingga menghasilkan karya tari yang memiliki karakteristik holografi kinestetik. Kata Kunci: Multimedia, Hologram, Kolaborasi, Penciptaan Tari ABSTACT This research is motivated by the use of multimedia hologram technology, in dance performances, which combines visual elements, technology, dance movement, clothing, lighting and music as a new form of performance art. The purpose of the research is to explore the utilization of multimedia holograms in collaborative dance creation at KIG Dance Community, Bandung. The research used art-based research method. The participants of this research are students who are members of the dance community at the Indonesian Education University Student Association which calls itself KIG Dance Community. Collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation studies and literature reviews. The research procedure begins with forum group discution , identifying problems and objectives, initial interviews, material preparation, practice conducted in 4 meetings, reflection and evaluation. Data analysis was carried out by condensation, presentation, inference and validation. The results of this study show that: 1. Increasing KIG Dance Community's understanding of the basics of holograms, skills in exploring holographic multimedia with kinesthetics; 2. Increasing KIG Dance Community's creative and innovative attitude in artistic expression and interaction between dancers and mutlimedia, as well as aesthetic collaboration between motion and technology, resulting in dance works that have kinesthetic holography characteristics.
