Abstract

Maraknya kasus bunuh diri karena gangguan mental setiap tahunnya. Gangguan mental bisa menyerang siapa saja. Usia remaja merupakan usia yang rentan terkena gangguan kesehatan mental. Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kesehatan mental menjadi salah satu penyebabnya. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap gangguan mental adalah dengan menginformasi masyarakat. Penyampaian informasi menggunakan video motion graphic merupakan salah satu media yang dinilai paling efektif. Sosialisasi kesehatan mental menggunakan media video motion graphic sudah banyak dilakukan. Namun, masih ada gangguan mental yang jarang dibahas yaitu, gangguan mental PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Padahal , saat ini kasus PTSD meningkat saat Covid -19 dimana hasil survey menunjukkan bahwa 77% responden dalam sebuah penelitian merasakan gejala trauma psikologis. Maka dari itu, diperlukan media informasi terkait gangguan mental PTSD yang menarik berupa video motion graphic untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perancangan media informasi mengenai gangguan mental PTSD berbasis video motion graphic yang target audiens nya adalah kalangan remaja di Bandung, serta mengetahui respon dari audiens terhadap media yang telah dibuat. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Hasil pengujian media mendapatkan nilai rata rata 80,9% pada pengujian alpha dan nilai rata rata 88% pada pengujian beta. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa media yang dibuat dikategorikan “Sangat Layak” untuk dijadikan media informasi gangguan mental PTSD untuk remaja. --------- Suicide cases due to mental disorders continue to increase every year. Mental disorders can attack anyone. Adolescence is an age that is vulnerable to experiencing mental health disorders. Lack of public awareness of the importance of mental health is one of the causes. One way that can be done to increase public awareness of mental disorders is by providing information to the public. Conveying information using video motion graphics is one of the most effective forms of media. Mental health outreach using motion graphic video media has been widely carried out. However, there is still a mental disorder that is rarely talked about, namely the mental disorder PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Currently, cases of PTSD are increasing during COVID-19, where survey results show that 77% of respondents in a study felt symptoms of psychological trauma. Therefore, interesting information media related to PTSD mental disorders is needed in the form of motion graphic videos to increase public awareness. This research aims to find out how to design information media about PTSD mental disorders based on video motion graphics whose target audience is teenagers in the city of Bandung, as well as knowing the audience's response to the media created. The method used in this research is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development method. The media testing results obtained an average score of 80.9% in alpha testing and an average score of 88% in beta testing. So it was concluded that the media created was in the "Very Appropriate" category to be used as information media for PTSD mental disorders in adolescents.
