    Abstract

    Kemampuan computational thinking merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Dari hasil laporan PISA dan beberapa hasil penelitian terdahulu mengungkapkan bahwa kemampuan computational thinking beberapa siswa SMP di Indonesia cenderung tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan computational thinking siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS yang kemudian ditinjau berdasarkan tingkat disposisi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa pada salah satu kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung yang telah mempelajari materi lingkaran. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu instrumen tes kemampuan computational thinking, angket disposisi matematis, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan computational thinking siswa SMP dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS terbatas pada soal tipe C4. Kemudian, siswa dengan tingkat disposisi matematis tinggi mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator computational thinking dalam menyelesaikan soal tipe C4 dan C5, sedangkan pada soal tipe C6 siswa hanya mampu memenuhi sebagian indikator computational thinking. Siswa dengan tingkat disposisi matematis sedang mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator computational thinking dalam menyelesaikan soal tipe C4 dan C5. Siswa dengan tingkat disposisi matematis rendah hanya mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator computational thinking dalam menyelesaikan soal tipe C4.

    Computational thinking ability is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students in learning mathematics. The results of the PISA report and several previous studies revealed that the computational thinking ability of some junior high school students in Indonesia tends to be low. This study aims to describe the computational thinking ability of junior high school students in solving HOTS problems which are then reviewed based on high, medium, and low levels of mathematical disposition. This research is a qualitative-research with case study method. Respondents in this study were all students in one of the eighth grader in one of the public junior high schools in Bandung City who had studied circle material. The instruments used in data collection were computational thinking ability test instrument, mathematical disposition questionnaire, and interview guidelines. The results showed that the computational thinking ability of junior high school students in solving HOTS problems was limited to C4 type problems. Then, students with high mathematical disposition level were able to fulfill all computational thinking indicators in solving type C4 and C5 problems, while in type C6 problems students were only able to fulfill some computational thinking indicators. Students with a moderate level of mathematical disposition are able to fulfill all indicators of computational thinking in solving type C4 and C5 problems. Students with a low level of mathematical disposition are only able to fulfill all indicators of computational thinking in solving type C4 problems.
