Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya kualitas media pembelajaran manipulatif pada materi jaring-jaring kubus dan balok di kelas V SD. Peserta didik kurang mampu memahami materi tanpa media, pemahamannya kurang, semangat belajarnya tergantung media, dan mudah lupa materi. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengembangan media, untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi pengembangan media pembelajaran manipulatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian (Research and Development), model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, Expert Judgement, dan angket. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara pendidik dan peserta didik, lembar observasi, dokumen, validasi ahli media dan materi, angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik. Pada tahapan Analysis, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan, kualitas media, dan pengembangan. Hasilnya media yang ada mudah rusak, hanya digunakan 1 kali, kurang aman, kurang menarik, serta pemahaman peserta didik kurang. Tahapan Design, dilakukan perancangan pengembangan media, dengan memperhatikan tahapan analisis. Hasilnya media dirancang dengan mengganti bahan media, memberikan warna, dan penamaan pada setiap sisi. Tahapan Development, membuat pengembangan media sesuai dengan tahapan perancangan, dilakukan juga validasi kepada ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil dari validasi tersebut media valid dan layak diujicobakan. Tahapan Implementation, dilakukan di 2 sekolah. Media dinilai oleh pendidik dan peserta didik, yang hasilnya media sesuai dengan kurikulum dan karakteristik peserta didik. Tahap Evaluation, dilakukan di setiap tahapan, dan dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya media yang dikembangkan meningkat kualitasnya, aman, menarik, dan dapat membantu memahami materi sesuai dengan hasil LKPD dan lembar evaluasi. This research was motivated by the lack of quality of manipulative learning media in cube and block net materials in class V elementary school. Students are less able to understand the material without media, their understanding is lacking, their enthusiasm for learning depends on the media, and they easily forget the material. Therefore, it is necessary to develop media to facilitate students during learning. This research aims to describe the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the development of manipulative learning media. This research uses research methods (Research and Development), the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation, Expert Judgment, and questionnaires. The instruments used were teacher and student interview guidelines, observation sheets, documents, media and material expert validation, teacher and student response questionnaires. At the Analysis stage, an analysis of needs, media quality and development is carried out. The result is that the existing media is easily damaged, only used once, less safe, less interesting, and students' understanding is lacking. Design Stage, media development planning is carried out, taking into account the analysis stages. As a result, the media is designed by changing the media material, giving colors and naming each side. Development stage, making media development in accordance with the design stage, validation is also carried out with material experts and media experts. The results of this validation are valid media and worth testing. Implementation stages, carried out in 2 schools. The media is assessed by educators and students, with the results that the media is in accordance with the curriculum and student characteristics. The evaluation stage is carried out at each stage, and it can be concluded that the quality of the media developed is improved, safe, interesting, and can help understand the material according to the results of the LKPD and evaluation sheet.
