Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya pengelolaan limbah kotoran sapi dan aktivitas dari peternak yang menghasilkan biogas di Desa Suntenjaya dan Desa Cibodas, namun memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap yang berbeda. Dalam penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yakni untuk : (1)Menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan peternak sapi dalam pengelolaan biogas dengan pengetahuan yang dimiliki terhadap informasi biogas di Desa Suntenjaya dan Desa Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. (2)Menganalisis sikap peternak sapi terhadap penerapan biogas di Desa Suntenjaya dan Desa Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. (3)Menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap tingkat partisipasi dalam penerapan biogas di Desa Suntenjaya dan Desa Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Respon Peternak sapi dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan keruangan dan kelingkungan dalam perspektif geografi serta menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan tingkat partisipasi lalu hasil data kedua desa di komparasi. Teknik analisis data lainnya menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda, uji T, dan uji F untuk menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap tingkat partisipasi peternak dalam pengelola biogas. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini yakni dapat mengoptimalkan peran peternak sapi yang dapat didukung oleh pemerintah setempat dan juga instansi terkait biogas dalam hal penyuluhan serta proses pemeriksaan secara rutin berkala terhadap pengguna biogas dan juga pengguna non-aktif ataupun yang belum menggunakan biogas sama sekali. This research was motivated by the management of cow dung waste and the activities of farmers who produce biogas in Suntenjaya Village and Cibodas Village, but have different levels of knowledge and attitudes. This study has the objectives to: (1) Analyze the level of knowledge of cattle farmers in biogas management with the knowledge possessed on biogas information in Suntenjaya Village and Cibodas Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. (2) Analyzing the attitude of cattle farmers towards the application of biogas in Suntenjaya Village and Cibodas Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. (3) Analyze the influence of the level of knowledge and attitudes on the level of participation in the application of biogas in Suntenjaya Village and Cibodas Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. The response of cattle farmers in this study was analyzed using spatial and environmental approaches in a geographical perspective and analyzed the level of knowledge, attitudes and participation levels and the results of the data of the two villages in the comparison. Other data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression tests, T tests, and F tests to show that there is an influence on the level of knowledge and attitudes on the level of participation of farmers in biogas management. The recommendation of this study is to optimize the role of cattle farmers which can be supported by the local government and also biogas-related agencies in terms of counseling and the process of regular periodic checks on biogas users as well as non-active users or those who have not used biogas at all.
