Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui aktivitas siswa kelas VB SDN Margahayu XVIII selama penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media audiovisual, dan (2) mengetahui kondisi keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VB SDN Margahayu XVIII setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media audiovisual. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini terlihat pada siswa yang masih sulit untuk memilih kata, menentukan intonasi saat berbicara, pelafalan siswa saat berbicara, menentukan urutan cerita dan siswa malu-malu ketika diminta berbicara di depan kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian Kemmis Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VB SDN Margahayu XVIII sejumlah 22 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VB SDN Margahayu XVIII. Hasil rata-rata menjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan guru saat penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media audiovisual. Pada siklus I, skor observasi aktivitas siswa senilai 84% dan skor observasi aktivitas guru senilai 94%. Sedangkan pada siklus II skor observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru mencapai 100%. Untuk rata-rata keterampilan berbicara siswa meningkat dari siklus 1 senilai 78 menjadi 84 pada siklus II, sehingga terjadi peningkatakan keterampilan berbicara siswa sebanyak 6 poin. ----- This study aims to: (1) to know the activities of students of class VB SDN Margahayu XVIII during the implementation of cooperative learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining type assisted by audiovisual media, and (2) to know the condition of speaking skills of students of class VB SDN Margahayu XVIII after the implementation of cooperative learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining type assisted by audiovisual media. The problem in this study is the low speaking skills of students in learning Indonesian. This can be seen in students who are still difficult to choose words, determine intonation when speaking, student pronunciation when speaking, determine the order of the story and students are shy when asked to speak in front of the class. The research method used in this study is classroom action research (PTK) with Kemmis Mc. Taggart research design which was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 22 students of class VB SDN Margahayu XVIII. The data collection methods used were observation and tests. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the application of the cooperative learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining type assisted by audiovisual media can improve learning activities and speaking skills of VB grade students of SDN Margahayu XVIII. The average results show that there is an increase in student and teacher activities when applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model assisted by audiovisual media. In cycle I, the student activity observation score was 84% and the teacher activity observation score was 94%. While in cycle II, the observation score of student and teacher activities reached 100%. For the average speaking skills of students increased from cycle 1 worth 78 to 84 in cycle II, so there was an increase in students' speaking skills by 6 points.
