Abstract

Pabrik kelapa sawit GMKZ merupakan anak Perusahaan dari PT. XYZ yang bergerak dibidang pengolahan kelapa sawit. Luas area perkebunan dan produksi di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah adalah 105.000 ha dan kapasitas produksi 675 tph (ton per hour) produktivitas pengolahan kelapa sawit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui jumlah armada yang optimal untuk memuat Palm kernel ke tempat buyer dengan menggunakan metode peramalan (forecasting) dan mengetahui Safety stock Palm kernel di Silo Bunker. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mix methods atau campuran. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode peramalan single moving average dengan nilai MSE 98.7, metode single exponential smoothing dengan nilai MSE 189.7 dan metode naïve dengan nilai MSE 200, dan nilai safety stock sebesar 77.5 ton atau sebanyak 77.500 kg. Sehingga metode yang paling tepat digunakan dalam menganalisis data dengan memiliki nilai error kesalahan peramalan yang paling terkecil dari ketiga metode yang digunakan untuk peramalan armada angkutan dan hasil peramalan akan digunakan untuk menghitung safety stock tahun 2024 yaitu dengan menggunakan Metode single moving average dengan nilai forecast error terkecil. GMKZ palm oil mill is a subsidiary of PT XYZ which is engaged in palm oil processing. The plantation area and production in Central Kalimantan Province is 105,000 ha and the production capacity is 675 tph (tons per hour) of palm oil processing productivity. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal number of fleets to load Palm kernel to the buyer's place using the forecasting method and determine the Safety stock of Palm kernel in Silo Bunker. The method used in this research is mix methods or mixed. The research results obtained by using the moving average forecasting method with a MSE value of 98.7, single exponential smoothing method with a MSE value of 189.7, and naïve method MSE value is 200. Safety stock value of 77.5 tons or as much as 77.500 kg. So that the most appropriate method is used in analyzing data by having the smallest forecasting error value of the three methods used for forecasting the transport fleet and the forecasting results will be used to calculate the safety stock in 2024, namely by using the moving average method with the smallest forecast error value.
