Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjabarkan tingkat efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) terhadap miskonsepsi siswa pada materi fotosintesis di kelas IV SD. Dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya variatif pada proses pembelajaran yang dapat menyebabkan miskonsepsi terjadi pada siswa terhadap suatu materi tertentu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan quasi experimental design dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi berasal dari 2 kelas IV SDN Kebon Baru 09 Pagi, Jakarta Selatan pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan teknik sampel jenuh yang melibatkan 54 siswa secara keseluruhan. Masing-masing kelas terdapat 27 siswa yang dimana kelas IVA sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelas IVD sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes uraian sebanyak 10 soal yang dilaksanakan pada 2 kali pertemuan (pretest dan posttest). Berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan pemodelan Rasch dan SPSS dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian perlakuan terhadap kelompok eksperimen dengan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran CLIS dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari uji signifikansi yang dilakukan menggunakan Uji-T, dimana skor Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,006 atau <0,5 yang mengartikan bahwa pengimplementasian model CLIS dikatakan efektif. Selain itu keefktifan model CLIS terlihat pada perbandingan selisih nilai logit pada abilitas siswa di kelompok eksperimen 1,988 sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya 1,285, dimana kenaikan persentase nilai kelompok eksperimen mencapai 17,19% sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya 10,88%. Selanjutnya tampak pada menurunnya jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsi pada butir soal 6, 7, 8, dan 9. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model CLIS efektif dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa kelas IV pada materi fotosintesis. The aim of this research is to describe the level of effectiveness of using the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) learning model on student misconceptions regarding photosynthesis material in fourth grade elementary school. This is motivated by the lack of variety in the learning process which can cause students to have misconceptions about certain material. The research method used was quasi experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population came from 2 class IV students at SDN Kebon Baru 09 Pagi, South Jakarta in the 2023/2024 academic year using a saturated sampling technique involving a total of 54 students. There were 27 students in each class, where class IVA was the control group and class IVD was the experimental group. The instrument used was a description test of 10 questions which was carried out at 2 meetings (pretest and posttest). Based on data analysis using Rasch and SPSS modeling, it can be concluded that providing treatment to the experimental group by implementing the CLIS learning model can improve student understanding. This can be seen from the significance test carried out using the T-test, where the Sig score. (2-tailed) of 0,006 or <0,5, which means that the implementation of the CLIS model is said to be effective. Apart from that, the effectiveness of the CLIS model can be seen in the comparison of the difference in logit scores on students' abilities in the experimental group, which was 1,988 while the control group was only 1,285, where the percentage increase in the experimental group's score reached 17,19% while the control group was only 10,88%. Furthermore, it can be seen in the decrease in the number of students who have misconceptions in questions 6, 7, 8, and 9. Thus it can be concluded that the CLIS model is effective in overcoming the misconceptions of class IV students regarding photosynthesis material.
