Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh peran ayah dalam pengasuhan anak cerebral palsy. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peran ayah saat menerima dan mendukung kehadiran anak dengan kondisi cerebral palsy. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana konstribusi peran ayah dalam mendukung pengasuhan anak dengan cerebral palsy. Selain itu masalah yang dibahas juga mengenai strategi dan kendala ayah dalam pengasuhan kepada anak dengan kondisi cerebral palsy. Penelitian ini manggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Partisipan yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 2 orang ayah yang memiliki anak usia dini dengan keadaan cerebral palsy. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Gunung Putri, Bogor, Jawa Barat. Dalam pengambilan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara yang mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kedua partisipan menerima kehadiran anak dengan kondisi cerebral palsy dan mendukung dalam pengasuhannya. This research is motivated by the role of fathers in parenting children with cerebral palsy. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the father's role in accepting and supporting the presence of a child with cerebral palsy. The problem discussed in this study is how the contribution of the father's role in supporting the upbringing of children with cerebral palsy. This research is located in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java. In collecting data, researchers used in-depth interview techniques and documentation studies. The collected data were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results obtained from this study indicate that both participants accept the presence of children with cerebral palsy and support them in their care.
