Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media kartu bergambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal ekspresi emosi dasar (senang, sedih, marah, terkejut, takut, dan jijik) pada anak autis. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian Single Subject Research (SSR) yaitu penelitian subjek tunggal dengan prosedur penelitian menggunakan desain A-B-A. Subjek pada penelitian adalah seorang autis kelas X di SLB Purnama Asih yang kurang memiliki kemampuan mengenal ekspresi emosi seseorang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes perbuatan dengan instrumen kemampuan mengenal ekspresi emosi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan media kartu bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal ekspresi emosi senang, sedih, marah, dan terkejut. This study aims to determine the application effect of picture card media to improve the ability to recognize basic emotional expressions (happy, sad, angry, surprised, afraid, and disgusted) in autistic children. The method used in this research is Single Subject Research (SSR), which is single subject research with research procedures using the A-B-A design. The subject of the research is an autistic class X at SLB Purnama Asih who lacks the ability to recognize a person's emotional expression. Data collection in this study used an action test with the instrument of the ability to recognize emotional expressions. The results of this study indicate that picture card media can improve the ability to recognize expressions of happy, sad, angry, and surprised emotions.
