Abstract
Kesiapsiagaan menunjukkan kemampuan masyarakat atau individu untuk mencegah, menanggapi dan pulih dengan efektif setelah bencana terjadi. Kejadian bencana yang tidak dapat diprediksi sering menimbulkan banyak korban jiwa maupun harta, seperti di daerah Kecamatan Cisarua, Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang rawan terdampak bencana longsor dan gempa bumi. Dampak bencana ini memengaruhi berbagai sektor tak terkecuali sektor pendidikan yang didalamnya terdapat kelompok rentan yaitu peserta didik. Sebagian besar peserta didik menghabiskan waktunya disekolah, terutama mereka yang tinggal di asrama sekolah seperti SMA Al-Aziz Islamic Boarding School. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan potensi multi bahaya bencana di lingkungan SMA Al-Aziz Islamic Boarding School dan menganalisis tingkat kesiapsiagaan warga sekolah serta kondisi sarana prasarana sekolah dalam menghadapi potensi multi bahaya bencana di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Potensi multi bahaya bencana ini harus dihadapi dengan kesiapsiagaan warga sekolah dalam mewujudkan Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB). Metode penelitian campuran digunakan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah ini dengan memanfaatkan data pendukung berupa data spasial untuk menggambarkan potensi bahaya bencana di sekitar sekolah. Potensi bahaya bencana ini direspon oleh warga sekolah dengan kesiapsiagaan, hal ini diperoleh dari persentase kesiapsiagaan warga sekolah yang tergolong siap. Sementara hasil wawancara menunjukkan persiapan SMA Al-Aziz Islamic Boarding School untuk menjadi SPAB masih perlu dibenahi baik secara struktural seperti kelengkapan sarana prasarana maupun secara non struktural melalui pendidikan pencegahan dan pengurangan risiko bencana. Diperlukan upaya peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana yang melibatkan seluruh elemen sekolah agar menghasilkan sumberdaya manusia yang berkapasitas dalam merespon bencana. Preparedness shows the ability of a society or individual to prevent, respond and recover effectively after a disaster occurs. Unpredictable disasters often cause large losses of life and property, such as in the Cisarua District, West Bandung Regency which is prone to being affected by landslides and earthquakes. The impact of this disaster affects various sectors, including the education sector, which includes vulnerable groups, namely students. Most students spend their time at school, especially those who live in school dormitories such as SMA Al-Aziz Islamic Boarding School. This research aims to explain the potential for multi-hazard disasters in the SMA Al-Aziz Islamic Boarding School environment and analyze the level of preparedness of the school community and the condition of school infrastructure in facing the potential for multi-hazard disasters in West Bandung Regency. This potential multi-hazard disaster must be faced with the preparedness of the school community in creating a Disaster Safe Education Unit (SPAB). Mixed research methods were used to answer this problem formulation by utilizing supporting data in the form of spatial data to describe the potential for disaster hazards around the school. The school community responded to the potential danger of this disaster with preparedness, this was obtained from the percentage of preparedness of the school community that was classified as ready. Meanwhile, the interview results show that SMA Al-Aziz Islamic Boarding School preparations to become a SPAB still need to be improved both structurally, such as completeness of infrastructure and non-structurally, through education on disaster risk reduction and prevention. Efforts to increase disaster preparedness are needed that involve all elements of the school in order to produce human resources with the capacity to respond to disasters.
